I knew she was going to start her period a couple of days before she knew based on this recurring pattern.
Since the summer of this year mood swings became elevated. Things I've done before that would piss her off now set her off. September was a bad month for her where she was close to giving away our two dogs, complaining about our son, complaining about me, etc. And not complaining in a way that welcomes conversation and discussion.
Where once I could tell her period was coming due to slight changes in mood, some irritability and airhead comments, it is now looking to be different indicators. Now it starts with agitated behavior, more nagging, looking for an argument (if not with me, then my son or the dogs), then a short period of normalcy before any little thing triggers her again.
Two days ago, she was laying into my son for not reading his school book (6th graders are reading The Blind Side btw 0_o) and me for letting him play on his laptop. Reality: he was doing his math homework online which took 45 min to complete. Once finished, he takes his book to read an hour before bed. I can hear her nagging him about something for about 10 min from downstairs. I yell up to leave him alone so he can read. She comes down and sits next to me on the couch with this look on her face:
I call that the crazy lady eyes look. Before she can start I tell her that I'm in no mood for her drama and I am not talking to her until that crazy look is gone, and if she didn't believe me to go look in the mirror.

I was married 20+ years and it just went flat and fizzled out. I have dated exactly 3 people since my divorce. A 23 year old latina who was a ton of fun, but wanted kids and I got the freakouts regularly. Late periods, weird behavior. Bounced out of that and got a vasectomy. Next, a 37 year old educated woman with a couple kids in their early teens. Mood swings were ridiculous and often scary, she said she couldn't take BC because it made them worse. I did a quick 360 out of that one.
The girl I am with now, 46 and has a daughter that is graduating high school. She cooks ridiculously well, is fit and in shape working out 4 days a week and loves the back of my Harley. I think it might have taken me 49 years to find the "right one". I thought I would die alone after my divorce, but I truly haven't felt this alive ever. I had to go through some crazy chit with some unbalanced females to get here.
InB4 this one gets crazy and I am back to square one.....

Been married 8 years. I still miss my wife when I'm away from her for a prolonged period of time. Still get pissed off at her now and then too.
Such is life. I love my wife, and I want to be with her.

I don't. I divorced mine when I realized that the "dream" of the house in the suburbs, two kids and no sex ever was ridiculous.
After I moved out it took me exactly three days to get laid. Took me about a month to get a new place and settled in and about three months to get legal stuff worked out and have regularity with my kids again. That was three years ago and I've had many adventures, gotten laid more than I can ever imagine and am so much happier I can't even explain it to you. My kids are totally fine and adore me and I live in a large house, have sex 5-7 times a week and my business is thriving.
Life is too short brothers. Don't fall for the picket fence BS and think "is this as good as it gets?". It can get better. Much better.

I quit seeing the last girl I dated because she accused me of being a sex addict when we had sex maybe 3-4 times in the last 6 months. I have to assume most sexless marriages have some warning signs like this?

near impossible to shake both our biological and societal programming.
because no rational thinking man would ever lock themselves into a relationship with one vagina for the rest of his life.
with that said, whether you're a full time bachelor or married, there is going to be frequent episodes of unhappiness/loneliness/etc throughout your existence
our brains are fn weird man, its so hard to be content even if you have everything.

People keep saying how Clive got married at a different time, before social media and such. My wife cooks, cleans, she's never been a slut, she isn't on social media 24/7.
I got married 2 years ago, and my wife and I are going great, we argue maybe 3 times a year, I can't wait to see her everyday. We've been together for 8 years and things have only gotten better.
The issue here is usually weak men, you either lead or you get cucked.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

It can be heaven or it can be hell.
Was with a woman for nearly 7 years. I couldn't stand her but stayed because I was an idiot that didn't think I could do better. We rarely had sex and she barely contributed anything to the relationship.
Found a new woman from Colombia about 4 years ago. We've been married for 3. Still not tired of her and don't see a time where I will be.
All depends on the woman brah.

For some it becomes not a matter of enjoying their spouse so much as it has to do with not upsetting the cart:
- the pain & problems it causes children
- the perceived "embarrassment" it will cause in front of friends & family
- definitely how much finances one stands to lose -- either directly or due to loss of a combined income & monthly purchase power
- having to deal with being 'alone'
- being confronted with having to carve out your own identity on your own (if it was suffocated in the relationship to any degree)
I've met tons of unhappy people in relationships who can't or won't pull the trigger for any combination of the above reasons.
