I had to do 20 years in the navy, never really liked it but did it. The reason I did it was so i could dick off in my later years.
Think through what you are doing, put money aside and just suck it up. When you get to be my age you will be way better off than most guys my age and younger. Then you will be able do do whatever you want like I do.
What you want to stay away from is debt. 100% it is a dream killer.

OP, you only have ONE life.
Each moment you spend in regret or discontent with your life is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
You are so lucky to have this one life and you're ****ing pissing time down the drain if you're miserable.
Don't listen to those morons who say you should grind it out for 10 years.
That's 10 years man, given that you're only getting one life, you're wasting so much of the most valuable resource you have, which is time.
And for what?
For money?
Trading your time for money is the worst trade in the world.
You can be happy NOW.
You can find a job that is fulfilling NOW.
Even if it pays 40k/year, having a job that fulfills you means YOU DON'T NEED money to spend on a 'break' from your career for a holiday.
Guess what?
A job that pays 40k now will pay at least 80k in the future if you grind hard, maybe add a side hustle or two. And if you love it you will want to grind hard.
Imagine LOVING what you do!
People seek money to be happy, and the way they get money is to sacrifice their happiness. Logic not even once....
And yeah, I get the whole delayed gratification thing, but having millions of dollars when you're 40 won't matter when you're bitter that you just spent the past 20 years filled with discontent and dissatisfaction.
Those 20 years are worth way ****ing more than money.
And you will never get them again.
to the best!

This isn't complicated at all to be honest. You don't have a burning passion in life, so just stick to making money and living the good life.
The real problem here is that at some point between WW2 and now, the "Education System" in first world countries along with popular culture have propagated the myth that everyone's life has to be full of passion and drive. It's like the princess syndrome girls have from watching too much disney.
Not everyone in the world can be extremely passionate about something or help cure aides. In fact, the grand majority of people are either below average, average or not far above average. And that's completely fine.
Instead of buying into the bullchit you were sold since you were in grade school, man up and face the truth whatever that may be. Don't go throwing the start to a great career away simply because people on the internet always post memes about grinding and doing whatever it takes to make it. Did any of your teachers every mention "utilizing critical thinking"? Well now's the time *******. Think hard and decide based on the truth and facts; noone is better qualified than you to make this call.
I'd also highly caution against reading too much into *******s online who claim to be living their dreams. Guaranteed 8/10 people on your ******** are posting a fake version of your life, and these are people you know may know in real life. Chasing dreams isn't all it's cracked up to be, specially when you don't even know what that dream is and are only trying to chase because you thought that's what you're supposed to do. Good luck *******, hope you figure it out.

Same feels OP. Try finding something you’re passionate about outside of work. You don’t have to teach to have a positive impact on kids lives, you could volunteer or be a mentor.

It sounds to me like you just got a job at a bad company or something, because I have no idea how you ended up doing excel or that other stuff.
Take a look into research programming positions at top universities, startups or even innovation labs at different companies. You won't be doing corporate drone type work at either of those places.

Honestly you are one pathetic little bitch.
Just WTF.
You have the opportunity to make a decent career by many people's standards yet here you are whimpering like a chitting whippet.
If I was your Father I would open-hand slap some sense into that entitled skull of yours and force you to sign up to the armed forces before you implode into a waterfall of your own tears.
Fukkin' whining little "poor me" maggot.

You sound like that guy who did well in school but is completely useless to have as a colleague as he doesn't do any real work done and whines about everything. Every workplace has one so and usually they promote them to management during next review cycle to prevent any future slow downs in project completion.
Cliffs:
Congrats OP, you are on the corporate ladder fast track.

If you’re on course to get at least a 2:1, apply to MI5. It doesn’t matter what your degree is in as long as it’s 2:1. Probably way more fun than the other options laid out.

You're 21, you don't know chit.
If you are as good as you say, come to Silicon Valley and work with the best, you'll be challenged, you'll work on interesting stuff, you can company hop if you don't like the culture, and we don't do business in an up-tight stuffy way like you Brits do, jeans & T-shirts, it's all about the engineering and product, and make tons of money.
..Most people aren't nearly as good as they think once they come out here, can't handle the pressure, but if you can survive you'll make tons of money.
OP prob can't handle it though, poor little guy can't even handle being a fresh CS grad.

IIT miscers who have not climbed as high on maslows hierarchy of needs as this 21 year old try to give him advice lol...
OP those 21 year olds who are clubbing will have a miserable and avg life for the rest of their lives because they have not invested in themselves like you have.
You should take advantage of your current skill set to make money while investing all your free time into learning skills that your interested in.
Don't worry too much about passion just yet. Ask yourself what your interested in and is it something that the world needs.
You don't have to make a make or break decision now. Start doing what you want to do and keep adjusting your path.

are you healthy? are your loved ones still around and doing well? do you have the minimum amount of money to pay your health insurance and food? do you have a safe/decent location you can sleep at night? do you have a friend?
if you would say yes to most of these this is my advice to you:
stfu, man up and start appreciating these things, as these are the most important things in life. (atleast for me and most other mentally healthy people.)
find something you enjoy doing every day and make that your job/career (if possible).
if no...: contact a psychologist instead of misc

Im in the same boat OP, only 31. from other's point of view, I have the DREAM LIFE. No kids, single, good looking, body of a fitness model, make $130k+ in a low-cost-of-living area. I own an exotic car, beach house, ducati superbike, and 4 other rental properties.
In reality, i HATE my life. Ive had 2 "first dates" this year, thats about what i average every year. I literally have no time to even meet girls. I literally work/rush every waking hour of my life. I notice girls staring at my in stores, gym, etc but I have no time to talk, always in a huge rush. I dropped literally every hobby I have except fitness and its extremely hard to keep that up. the MAXIMUM amount of sleep its even possible for me to get is 6.5 hours but i usually get 4 to 6 tops.
Im working on changing my life but its hard. I dont think the lack of a GF is my problem, its the fact that its literally impossible for me to have time for one, that fact that I lost all my hobbies, dont have mych time for friends, etc. Even as I type this im doing paperwork for my rentals. im literally busy every minute of my life.

To give you an example of how busy I am, I own my dream car and dream motorcycle, I drive/ride them every chance I get. I put 110 miles on my car and 32 miles on my bike so far this year. (I know the exact mileage because I get them inspected before the spring before i put any miles on them)
