Jesus Christ that's gotta be the dumbest argument I've ever heard. Someone could have a pitbull for 3,645 days and never have it attack and the next day it attacks and kills his daughter, eh just think about all the days it didn't attack her bro

do you know how to use the term "exception"? what argument do you think i'm making exactly? One that ascribes to a dictionary definition?

you have to be fukin stupid if you think the "exceptions" of pitbulls are the ones that don't attack, considering how many live and die without killing a human. You're so bent out of shape over pitbulls you're starting an argument over something I never said. Even if a pitbull went 3,645 days without an attack, that 1 attack would be an exception, not the rule. Never said that makes it okay for a dog to attack

I've seen 10+ pits that are as sweet as any dog you can find.

Seen 1 that has clear signs of aggression. But it also is in a freaking tiny cage 16 hours a day.

I feel confident if I'm around a dog for extended time I'll know.

Honestly, I don't know what point you're trying to make. Everyone of these stories involves a pitbull, no not every pitbull in the world is going to attack and kill somebody, but I've seen enough instances to stay away. Literally every single time its a pitbull and people still try to defend them and say its not the pitbull and they're no different than other dogs. Yet, they're the main culprits in attacks/bites/fatalities

Pit owners love to argue this. Its also why pit owners are usually low class attention whores. They can use a $1,000 dog to get lots of attention instead of having anything of real value to talk about.

Hold up. If you don't know what my point is, why'd you say I was making the dumbest argument you ever heard?

I'm just saying that his use of the terms "exception" and "rule" were backwards. No other point than that.

By all means stay away, that's your choice. Just don't be one of those *******s calling for an entire breed to be murdered along with the people that own them, or makes retarded blanket statements about the dogs and their owners. It's funny how every time I call someone out, they backpedal just a little bit saying "No not every pitbull in the world will attack, but i've seen enough to not want one".

If you really wanna argue bite statistics we can, and it'll be a short one since there's no organization that records bites, fatalities, and the breeds involved since the CDC stopped well over a decade ago. And for what they have reported on dog bite fatalities by breed, I already proved to other miscers that the math actually puts Rottweilers at the top, and German Shepherds in second.

lmao you're a real fukin idiot if you're paying $1000 for a pitbull just for the attention. You can pick one up for $100 at a nearby shelter.

All breeds of dogs show warning signs that they are unhappy/uncomfortable. The problem is that most people are clueless to these signs. And when the dog's warning signals go unnoticed, that's when it escalates into lock jaw time.

I have a blue nose pit bull. She's a sweetheart 99% of the time. But she has triggers and I'm well aware of them as well as able to pickup on signs from her when she's fed up of a situation/person/dog. If you spend a random month with her you wouldn't know this. But it takes that one trigger situation combined with unawareness on the part of the human owner and things could get very ugly.

Point being, the owners that have dogs that 'snap' and do something extremely violent are either lying or missed their dog's prior warning signs of aggression. And the pit bull haters that say of course the dog just randomly became violent without warning are also wrong.

I think most of the people claiming the dogs "randomly became violent" are the pitbull owners trying to rationalize it as their babies would never do anything wrong. Your post is exactly right, unfortunately people would rather be oblivious to this and act like pitbulls are the same as every other dog and perfect angels and thats when the problems occur

but the statistics that are out there from previous years, the news headlines, the personal anecdotes, you'd rather just ignore all of that? When you have to argue as much as you are to try to claim a pitbulls innocence maybe youre becoming ignorant to the facts. You're acting like a pitbull lawyer - Oh the CDC stopped recording the breeds of attacks so they're innocent. What about before that? I was in on the previous thread and when the CDC was recording those statistics Pitbulls sat at the top of the list. How the **** did I backpedal? I said from the start would never own one with a small child, I think they're dangerous in the wrong hands and potentially dangerous even with a trained individual - its about acknowledging that fact, but I would never call for them to be murdered. You just talk yourself in circles in these threads arguing and ignoring logic and common sense

Very worrying.

Just so people know - OP believes the earth is flat, therefore he has questionable judgement/sanity/intelligence.

Who here would be happy leaving their kid in OP's care with that dog in the house?

OP please tell me you never leave the kid alone with that dog (or any other dog come to think of it).

where did i say i was ignoring it? did you even read my posts ITT or the one yesterday? I said I did the math and Rottweilers and GSD's came out on top if you actually know how to read the chart. Yes i'll ignore personal anecdotes, or would you rather I throw up all mine saying how all the pits i met have never hurt a fly? anecdotes don't mean chit. Never did I say they were innocent. If you took the time to read my posts or other posts in other threads I know you've seen, you'd see i acknowledge them as dangerous.

Seriously dude just take a fukin second to read what I post instead of getting all bent out of shape over a dog breed. Show me where I said they're no different than other dogs. Again, go back to the other thread. Jacobcapra and I both agreed pitbulls along with any other large dog over 40-50lbs should be restricted

And I never accused you of backpedaling. Just that tons of other people do. You took it personally. you're free to own whatever dog you want and feel however you want. Like i said just don't be a ******* who calls for them to be eliminated along with their owners. How do you not get that's my main fukin point after 2 days of arguing back and forth on this topic, and me reiterating it mutiple times? somehow multiple other miscers understood what I was trying to say.

brb CDC breakdown actually shows rotties and GSD's having higher fatalities until breeds were no longer tracked
brb plenty of national stories involving other breeds as well, please give me a % or some legit statistic for this besides just saying it
brb ok? anecdotal evidence, do you wanna go back and revisit this again? I can post up the pic of my dog's face after he got back from daycare with welts all over it.

Stop being obtuse. suspend your emotions. and read what i wrote. You call me ignorant but post no proof other than what others have posted, and make decisions based off other people's input. Have you ever had a pitbull, or even interacted with one?

Yeah, just got negged back by that Zackad ******* with a Shakespearean monologue of how I shouldn't hate certain dog breeds. He also managed to throw in the word 'genocide' in that neg comment, but I didn't pay too much attention to what he wrote, I was mostly lolling.

Have you ever had a pitbull, or even interacted with one?

right, it's "triggered" to defend living beings that can't defend themselves because some people are idiots. It's "triggered" to defend myself when someone who doesn't understand what I'm saying calls me out for making the dumbest argument they ever heard. just lmao

more like pit bull haters are as immature as they are dumb.

brb up in arms over 1 wolf dying
brb ready to advocate elimination of a subspecies
You're a triggered, sensitive *******. Be quiet plz.

lmao i only negged you because you negged me first over nothing.

I argued with plenty of people in that other thread and no one negged me, and I negged nobody. Probably even repped a few

stay butthurt *******
