A Black high school music teacher, identified as 64-year-old Marston Riley, in Maywood, California was arrested Friday after a classroom fistfight between him and a Latino student was caught on video after the freshman pushed him to the brink by calling him N**** and hitting him with a basketball. The smackdown took place at the Maywood Academy High School, an alternative school. It looks like you can't discipline these BadAzz adolescents anymore. Smh. What do you think??? I feel bad for the teacher. The way to handle these type of wanna be thugs is simple, hard labor. Have them turn big rocks into little rocks for 12 hours a day and it will fix them straight up.

- constant talking, laughing like it's a social gathering

Out of the entire developed world, I think American kids are the hardest to teach and most reluctant to acquire an education and that's because our education system is so heavily politicized that it excuses the actions of morons (and by extension their parents) and condemns hard working kids.

There's something so contradictory to me of having all these kids sitting there with their brass instruments sight reading Tenor clef, playing demanding instruments and having artistic skills yet this thuggery still happens... it's such a juxtaposition. Like in 2018 it's a miracle kids even want to play instruments and not listen to rap garbage, but even when you take the rap away the thuggery remains
