Anyone here about that "red-flag" gun confiscation that took place in maryland, that ended up with the 60 yr old guy dead? ****ed up.

"On Monday morning, police officers in Anne Arundel County, Maryland showed up confiscate 60-year-old Gary J Willis’ guns. A family member had called police and asked them to suspend Gary Willis’ gun rights, and the local police department was more than happy to oblige.

When the pounding on the door began at 5:17 am, Gary showed up to his door holding a firearm. When he saw it was police, he put the gun down to talk to them. But then, the officers informed him they were there to confiscate all of his weapons.

Imagine how you would feel. You wake up out of a sound sleep to pounding on your door. You grab a gun in case it is a criminal, but it turns out that the police are there to confiscate your guns without even accusing you of committing a crime…

Gary Willis refused to comply with the confiscation order. That is when the fight broke out. During the struggle, one of the weapons discharged. Police, fearing for their lives, opened fire on Gary Willis, killing the 60-year-old man in his own home."

dead srs I would never live there, and if I did when they enacted this I would immediately move. That's the most messed up chit I've seen from gun grabbers yet, your constitutional right can be stripped away by some random fukboi making a phone call, this country is in deep chit.

What's the fastest you shoot them? Distance, target size, round count, total time? That's been the one sub-optimal VP category for me, the Glock always doescloseandfasta full step quicker than the VP. That bore axis + grip texture. But the VP is a laser beam for precise shots and it's not like it's slow. If only something could have both.

I’ll second this. Nothing polymer shoots faster than a Glock. Grip angle combined with bore axis.

But that VP9 trigger makes distance shots a breeze.

However, these gen 5 triggers are getting good. But a partially cocked striker trigger can never be as good as a fully cocked striker trigger.

And speaking of VPs. Are the push button mag release ones actually coming out or is HK just phucking with us like usual?

Finally sitting down for the day. Have a headache but Miller Lites helping to fix that. Until the morning anyways.

Was unloading some more from the POD today and could hear lots of shooting going on. Makes me feel good.

O and today some dude in full camo knocks on my door. I’m like ok and I open the door and the guy is like yea I’m hunting a couple properties over and I sbot this monster buck and blew its leg off. It ran off with 3 legs and I traced the blood trail to your place. Can I go look for it? I was like yea sure let me come with you. We didn’t find him though.

Haven't shot the gen5 yet, is the trigger really better than the 4? or 3 for that matter?

VP9 has been next on the buy list for like a year, but I can't swing it because I keep taking vacations.

The Gen5 trigger is better. But, it's still a Glock trigger. So it's fine, and the total package is the best there is forclose and fast, but if I'm trying to shoot a playing card at 10-15 yards or a B8 at 25, I want a VP

california and washington state have the same kinds of laws on the books, someone points the finger at you and the task force comes knocking...

WA also just passed a law that among other things gives them the authority to deny firearm ownership on health records. and of course the terms for what determines an unfit individual isnt defined, plus theres verbiage in the law that says you cant sue the state if they unlawfully seize your firearms...

in my opinion glock triggers have a large variance. i have an older gen 3 G19 with an average feeling trigger, a newer gen 3 G20 with a flawless trigger, and a newer G17 with a trigger just slightly less smooth than the G20.

So many states to choose.

If all of the conservatives left Washington and moved to Oregon it would be red.

If anyone is looking for an epic deal, Best Buy is doing the 82” Samsung NU8000 for 2500 bucks.

This post reminds me that a CZ P10 F is probably going to be my next purchase, once it becomes available with a threaded barrel to host my CGS Kraken. Seems like a better buy over the FN 509tac

Too impatient to wait. Judging by all the early Black Friday ads I saw it looked to be mostly cheap TV’s that were going to be deeply discounted.

Best Buy has a couple good deals like the 82” I mentioned and a 65” Samsung Q6F for 1300 I believe. Something around there.

But yea you’ll be happy with Vizio. I like the one I have.
