I think the status quo is: they're better and have had lots of modifications . . . but give it another year to see if anything else pops up in the beta testing.

The thing with big dots is there’s really no reference. Yeager goes apechit and says they are defensive sights. Yea ok, I’m sure they work fine at 7 yards and in. But the thing is, no sights at all would be fine at 7 yards and in. You can point shoot accurately at those distances.

If big dots were so good at shooting fast and accurate enough you’d see them dominate USPSA and IDPA. And I’ve never seen anyone use them in action shooting. Black rears with fiber optic fronts dominate those games because they are the best at speed and accuracy.

Shooting bullseye you’ll probably be better off with pure black sights with a really tight window but yea that’s a niche.

I need some big dots to try though because right now I’m talking out my ass having never tried them. And realistically, they are probably the first and or only slight company that would cut Yeager a check so that’s what he uses and peddles.

Had a dream last night Tactical Respanse went to one of the larger local gun shops in the area to do a Q&A. All the staff members were wearing XS BIG DOT SIGHT SYSTEM T shirts and had a huge table full of XS BIG DOTS on it. before the Q&A began, Jay Gibson said "Before we begin, I know this is supposed to go until 7PM. But, if you don't buy a set of xs big dots, we will keep you here until 2AM. The doors are locked going out.

Simultaneously the group seated stood up and started causing a ruckus. "That is complete and utter bull**** you CANT DO THAT" one guy yelled.

Suddenly the door swung open and in walked James Yeager wearing Oakley sunglasses and holding a monster energy drink. He said "Sit yer ass down before you leave this place in an ambulance"
