Typically, the odds of winning work out to somewhere between 1:20,000 and 1:5,000. Usually, about 20-40 miscers enter into the giveaways. I can't help it the overwhelming majority of the entries are people not from the Misc. It's a free opportunity to win a rifle. No one is forcing you to enter.

Shot a few thousand rounds through my aeroprecision ar15 I bought during the labor day sale with no issues. Its a pretty consistent weapon even in my amateur hands.

AR15 pistol style or long rifle for recreational target shooting + zombie defense?

Been shopping for my first rifle and love the way the pistol AR's look so much, but i don't know how practical they are

You just have to make sure that your ammo selection is appropriate. On a shorty you're going to want to run something heavier like a 77gr bullet which is less dependent on going sideways in a body for damage. If you're shooting at a 25 yd range, there's not going to be much difference.

If you're trying to shoot a couple hundred yards, you'll have easier going with the flatter trajectory from a 16" barrel.
