Maybe screw around. I knew a guy who dated 19 year old when he was 40, but he was a music artist so special case.

Only serious relationship I've seen like that.

But that’s not the same as genuinely being attracted to someone.

Idk what to do, I mean I do understand the advice that I should lower my standards and settle. It’s the most common advice to women with dating issues I think. Women advise each other that too btw.

But I just can’t imagine being happy in a relationship with someone I’m not attracted to. Like what is the point then even. I don’t even enjoy spending one date with someone I’m not into, let alone sex or a whole relationship. Would really rather just stay alone.

And I don’t think it’s fair to the guy either btw to settle for someone you don’t even like just to not be alone. It’s just using someone to not be alone and I don’t think that is cool. And I don’t like being alone, but I still like it more than dating someone I’m not into.
I think in all honesty at this point in your life if you've lost the ability to have children and are financially stable, settling will have have little to no benefit for you.

You say "dating issues" like it's some sort of medical affliction. Let's be honest, even if you somehow landed your mythical 10/10 giga chad, you'd eventually find a way to be unhappy or pick him apart for being less than perfect. Does that sound about right?

You'd think so right. I'm actually seeking a meaningful relationship and not just casual sex, but a lot of the prettier women are obviously passing me over for absolute top tier men who are obviously just gonna pump and dump.

It's kinda their own fault wouldn't you say? They claim to want a real relationship, but all flock towards the handful of top tier looks guys who are rotating and using them. And almost every woman I've spoke to has done this in the past, or continues to do this.

I understand it's a biological desire, but come on, have some maturity and self control. If you genuinely want a fulfilling relationship, make better decisions with who you date and potentially grow a connection with.

Op, don’t make those types of discussions with women, because they won’t admit that the online dating is more easy for them.

In fact if we analyze it deeper, online dating is a mess and for women as well. Why? Because online dating is a visual thing so it is all about looks, but women naturally are less visual than men. Now imagine that a 6.5/10 decent looking woman has hundreds of guys hitting her mailbox constantly. So, what specific guy is the best choice for this woman?

Most women want to find a guy to settle into a normal relationship. But, she can’t decide easily with so many offerings, because the virtual online communication through the dating apps is problematic. Thus the minions of flakes, ghosting, and sloots change their opinion every 5 minutes, because all the interaction is virtual and it doesn’t makes any sense for most women. In other words, women can’t feel attraction through the online communication.

Men are visual, women love communication, IRL communication, and are driven by emotions, and we can’t forget that.

On top of that, average, or below average guys with mad game can’t apply their game through the online platforms, so most women inevitably are waiting for that other 6’2 – 6’4 tall muscular Chad with that well defined jaw to hit their mailbox…It is so that simple…

Online dating is ideal for Chads or at least for the 8/10 ‘Sub Chads’. The average, or below average guys will always have hard time to attract women online for the reasons that already I have explained above.

So, in conclusion online dating is hard and for women as well, because they can’t feel attraction with the average or below average dudes, and inevitably end up to please in bed the tall Chads, and these guys in most cases smash and bounce…

"Lower your standards" is not synonymous with "someone I’m not attracted to".

The point you are missing (over and over again in thread after thread) is that your standards are probably unreasonably high, leaving you with only 2 choices... 1) getting pumped and dumped, or 2) cat collecting.

If you lost your eyesight tomorrow due to cancer or something, would that change your opinion? Would it be easier for you to find somebody for an LTR if you couldn't ever see them? And if you could find an LTR that made you happy, why would it matter if the guy is not a Chad?

You may be surprised to find out that most men would be happy to marry a 6.5/10 who is kind, pleasant, funny, feminine, happy, etc. Not because most men want to "settle", but because on the whole, the other traits she has make her the type of woman they could be happy with.

Sometimes someone who only seems like a 7/10 on your first date can become your ideal 9/10 after a few dates...they just need to settle in kinda...
Maybe you should give promising guys more of a chance SS idk

Literally if they look young and are my type and aren't skinny I'll give it a few dates...

gurl, you are in the same predicament as I am in. The people we are attracted to enough to actually want to consistenly phuck them are not attracted to us.

the only difference here is that womens' standards are typically far far far more unreasonable

I have a working theory about some of the FAs who post frequently to the RH section.

I think they have very high standards, but don't realize it. I think it's because they have very high opinions of themselves (not necessarily outwardly, but inwardly) and think it's some sort of an insult to consider dating anyone beneath them. We all know there are 5/10's out there who honestly think they are 9/10 and expect to only date 9's and 10's. These people get ZERO response from 9's and 10's and it shocks them, so they look for excuses other than the obvious one. I think these people might be narcissists without realizing it and that's the elephant in the room that causes such a disconnect between who they perceive themselves to be and who actually responds to them online.

Do you think this might be true in your case? Partially true? If so, if you were able to shut off that narcissism, do you think you'd have an easier time?

We have an epidemic of narcissism in the world today, and you can become a narcissist without realizing it or understanding why, if you were raised by a narcissistic parent. There's a whole issue with never receiving unconditional love as a child leading to adult relationship issues.

I have a year round six pack (avi), make 140K a year, live in my own god damn house, and have a wide social circle of friends, so much that I have to continue to turn down social invitiations and work in a career I love. and I'm only 32. I did ALL of this BY MYSELF because I realized I'm only responsible for what outcome I have.

the only REASON why I'm listing all those things is NOT to brag (and to be honest its not that much...most people can achieve it just be setting some goals), but to show you that....

my only criteria for going on a date with a girl is that she is

#1 not fat
#at least a 5/10 in the face
#2 can hold a conversation and is reasonably nice
#3 doesn't have multiple children from multiple baby daddies.

Literally. that is it.

and you phukkers things I'm being "too unreasonable"

In fact, if I were dating women on "my own level" I would be only dating women who were very athletic, made over 6 figures, were very intelligent, and had a wide variety of hobbies/passions and loved to travel/go out.

but, I'm making an exception, and STILL FAIL because those women still think they are "better than me".

and I'm not a true FA, I just refuse to date women outside of the criteria I mentioned, and since I've done that I've just heard crickets.

hey, I don't make the rules in the dating market, women do, and boy are they terrible at making these "rules". but I'd rather be single and enjoy my life than be with someone I'm not into at all.

Nothing personal brah, I wasn't calling you out. Just trying to see if my theory holds water.

You sound like you think you deserve a 9/10 and that 5/10's should be happy you're lowering your standards to even consider them. If so, your response is pretty much exactly what a narcissist would respond with.

In the real world, this may even be true. I might even agree with you 100% that you truly do deserve a 9/10. However, my theory is more about how having such a mindset can explain why some of the RH FA's keep experiencing the same problem over and over and over again, and why it leads them to becoming more bitter about dating than they should be.

BTW, narcissism is actually an attractive trait to many women, who initially mistake it as extreme self-confidence.

And on tinder I swipe on the guys that have my type of look, not the top percentage or the best looking guys or male models. I’m sure I’ve swiped left on plenty of 9/10 guys that misc would find very attractive, because they’re just not my type. And I swipe right on some guys that misc would probably just find average or fat because they have the type of look that I like.
TINDER IS NOT A DATING app. WHAT DONT YOU WOMEN GET?

The guys on there have 1 night stands with random women 2-7 times a week. Are you really dumb enough to actually take those chances?? Got damn I thought it was just the incel guys that were stupid, turns out the women are too

So infuriating when a woman wants a date and uses Tinder of all things. Why would you use Tinder for dates anyway?? Tons of misc dudes always let it be known you don't date a Tinder girl, so why are you dating a Tinder man?

Don't lower your standards breh, fuk that. Why is it fair for you to settle for less over a vagina? I hope to be in your position one day and will also have the same rules

Real life is your other option. Better quality of people and more of them in real life.

You know what guys tell me when it comes to meeting women? "Go out and find a hobby." How about you do the same??

As for trying to find 'the one' on tinder, I'd rather get rejected numerous times than possibly get with a girl who's had 50 dinks in her. Noooo thx

95% of girls have had 50 dinks. I don't think there's any getting around it.

I knew you weren't attacking me, but I was directing it at just the board in general, in situations where I have been attacked for being "too unreasonable", which of course I'm going to defend because its just laughable.

all of us just want someone we are attracted to, and think we have something decent to offer, but are passed up and its extremely frustrating.

So not sure how I could lower my standards unless I start dating people I’m not attracted to. And idk about the eyesight thing but attraction is important to me.

Cliffs: I want a nice guy that I’m also physically attracted to.
what is your criteria for physical attraction? if its only based on attributes they cant change (race, frame, height), then you are being to picky.

you have the right to be picky, but don't go spreading lies of how much harder it is for women than men. you women make it harder.

most the women I know who are still single (but want to find someone) in their upper twenties are still single because they reject men at their own level. thats it, period. Its painfully obvious when you see who they decide to go on dates with or not what the issue is. When you have a 5/10 girl only wanting men who are all 6 foot minimum dressing extremely well and have handsome faces, you know what the issue is

Shut up kiddo. The grown ups are talking.

He writes a lot of introspective stuff on RH, so I thought he'd see I was working on a hypothesis to help explain why a number of miscers seem to have the same problems, not just him. I don't care if he is a narcissist or not. I think there might be a unifying theme to why certain miscers who seem like they should be able to get women, just can't no matter what they try. Trying to figure that out to see if it helps anyone, but you can't do that if you're walking on eggshells trying not to offend.
