Also honestly you cant really compare making a decision on what food to eat today to something like relationships brah because one is a quick bite to eat and another is someone you are going to potentially spend the rest of your life with.
The way i would explain it is if you were online dating and you had 1000 options but the only thing you could see on the profile is a womens leg....and you are suppose to make a decision on who to go on date based on that and not only that but if you make a wrong decision that person may be a stalker, creep, weirdo, try to rape you etc etc.

Difficult to resist that behavior though. Imagine you had dozens and dozens of matches flowing in daily, incoming msgs etc. You have to filter some way. How do you do it?
On a visual app, 99% of women are gonna filter for looks, set some easy and immediate filters on height etc.. You probably would too if you had an unmanageable influx.
But guess what happens, all the women filter down to the same 5% of guys (and I think that's generous). 95% of women are matching with 5% of men.

Things are different for non-white and non-Asian females in the west though (research shows that).
I really can't stress how plain looking (and average in personality, and overweight) that the (white) 37 year old woman I knew was, and the amount of male attention she received online. (eg. an all expenses paid trip to Italy, that was offered to her after a first date).
That really opened my eyes to how different things are, in regards to online dating for women.
