But yea, my first few months of work felt horrific...like a dead end of sorts. Felt stuck here, doing something I don't really care for, with no plans for changing it...even though I was better off than a lot of people.

Now I've just come to cope with work is work. It's not always going to be fun, and very few people actually do what they truly enjoy while making a living.

My advice would be to try and land a job with really flexible hours, remote work, lots of PTO, and as little micromanagement as possible. That way you can misc a bit, work a bit, be in the office for 6 hours some day, etc. And then use all that extra time and energy to make a plan to make more money.

That's where I'm at, idk what's next

Brah, this is going to sound insensitive, but its honest and from the heart.

Your in your 20's... few if any of your friends have died from cancer/overdose/suicide. You haven't watched grown men crumble when they lose everything and their kids in divorce... you haven't seen that promising young kid with everything get killed by a drunk driver or mugger by complete happen chance. You haven't bene to war and witnessed people getting blown to jello or the stench of sh*t and iron from dead, burnt corpses from an air strike.

Your just a rosey-eyed kid with no idea how good you have it, and how hard and heavy things are going to get in the next 10-20 years of your like. Sack the f*ck up, go to work, do a good job, save your money, find a decent girl and make your stand by building a life.

Again, not trying to be a d*ck brah... you just need to realize life isn't gummy bears and bunnies, but for the most part you got a good hand. So stop whining and enjoy it. SRS
