the guy had to be early to mid 50s. looked jacked but had those hurtful circles under his eyes like he was up at 4am on a weekend. went up to him and said "Whats up ye sig sauer head?"

he kinda chuckled and said "huh? What do you mean by that?" my face turned red and immediately tried to switch topics and asked him if hes new because i've never seent him at the jym.

He said "nah im just usually here at 5:30 am every morning"

lol u people with your mystical old man strength with early morning training. i dont know how you do it. Cant do it now and i couldn't do it at 50. no way no how.

ive been stuck in this mentality for a long time, but recently started getting out of bed early to do a couple sets of sit ups every morning.

work schedule and coming home to lift after has me feeling completely drained and cant find the energy to do abs after that. but in the morning i can, plus it supposedly will kickstart the metabolism for the day so helps with cutting too

This. I feel much better mentally by lifting in the am. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. Plus, due to family obligations, I can’t be very consistent in the afternoons/evenings.

Evening MFC

Tried doing the gym in the morning thing once for about a month. I'd drink C4 before I went and drink coffee between sets but still couldn't wake up and have the energy to do anything.

I got an early-ish one knowing I was beta testing. Primer swipes were gnarly, but I didn't suffer any malfunctions. Sold it while they were still being gassed up by gun counter personnel.

ETA, I had 2. Both had epic primer swipes, one the barrel at 1k rounds looked like a real manufacturers barrel at 30k, and had major preening even though it was a bxr8 or whatever with relief cuts. Sig said it was all normal. Not dealing with all that. Sold both
This. Sold essentially because I couldn't trust it to not suck all of a sudden. And Sig is a trash company, obviously. I did keep my stealth gear holster just in case they can make them Glock reliable, because then I'll get another. I have a suspicion that only Glock can do that, though. And they won't be willing to put out a gun with a metal only magazine, so they won't make one that small with matching capacity.

This. I get up at 0430 everyday and my wife gets pissed that I want to be sleeping at 9. Like bish, 6 hours is the minimum amount of sleep I need to function without being miserable. And I can’t sustain multiple days of 6 hours sleep.

That was several years ago when I was trying to do go in the mornings, probably 4 or more I'd say, but you're right I shouldn't have been that tired. I think a good part of it was due to the older mattress we had as well After we got a new one I noticed a big difference in how I felt in the morning almost immediately. Still not doing the gym in the morning though, I started going on my lunch break and it's the perfect time to be at the gym I go to. Usually no more than 5 people in there at that time and it's all regulars.

yea, i had wanted to get two of them anyway but held out when i went in last week. that discount broke down my willpower and i had to get a second one.

ive been reading up on this platform though and feeling overwhelmed. so many damn variants of the 308 AR and it seems like just getting a simple plain stock carbine length is going to be problematic. the DPMS oracle barrel isnt chrome lined so im having second thoughts about it. building my own custom upper out of aero parts is probably the way to go. but i didnt really intend to do that because i know practically nothing about 308 ARs other than theyre complicated and parts are not interchangeable, so trying to piece one together will potentially result in a rifle that doesnt function reliably.

this.

i find it quite frustrating how controlling girls can be in relationships. if i work 60 hours a week and feel like sleeping in on the weekends then im going to do that.
