Yes the physical aspect of professional driving is massive and males would generally have a higher tolerance. The g-forces and general mental/physical strain of scorching track temperatures, constantly having to think for each sector etc 1 slip-up and the snowball effects are massive. As far as non-professional driving yes it's test and feeling invincible that gets males into a lot trouble, plus ego - street racing, showing off etc.

Perhaps we should make a hybrid female+male that's fused with robotics to be our planetary Emperor.

Motorsports has nothing to do with physical strength. Plus women being about 100 lbs lighter than men and also smaller means they have a built in advantage. They sit lower in the cockpit and take 100lbs of dead weight out of the car. It's why manlets make good racers. When's the last time you saw a tall jockey?

Granted some motorsports make lighter drivers add ballast to their cars so that fat fuk rednecks can still compete. Looking at you NASCAR.

you also have to consider that most commercial truck drivers are men. by sheer numbers alone they are more likely to be in an accident.

it's established that most miscers don't have a car, and those that do, don't take it over 35 miles an hour in fear of having to have a conversation with a real life human if pulled over.
no white knight, especially since this is a kid, but a lot of you are jumping on her while completely disregarding the facts.

Men make far better competitive drivers for much of the same reason why they make better soldiers and warriors - testosterone.

To win in any race, be it out on the street or on the track, you need to be very aggressive and extra willing to take risks - this tolerance for danger and the added possibility of dying a fast and gruesome death are all modulated, enhanced and driven by testosterone.

As for the point made in this thread about women being safer drivers overall, that point is moot - they are safer precisely because they engage in less risky and dangerous behavior overall, which is a mentality that is counterproductive to professional racing.

The fast reaction times of a female? Would you like to go into the neurophysiological hormonal determinants underlying human reaction time? Study upon study has established that men on average have much quicker reaction times than females. Which is precisely why baseball became the epicenter of America's doping crisis despite not being as physical of a sport as football - apparently, increasing your testosterone levels to supraphysiological values can lead to a proportionate increase in reaction time.
