Well, ended up forgetting to order the Olight BATON from the site

for a few bucks more I could get the new SUREFIRE stilletto

I haven't checked their sale out yet. Don't have any immediate plans to build a new AR anytime soon but I could check and see if they have sales on any of their gunsmithing tools.

Fukin tell me about it, last Monday I was saying how there wasn't anything I was interested in for BF. Now I have ammo, a cajun gun works kit for the CZ, some LOK grips, binary trigger, and a scope on order. Half expecting the scope to get canceled though.

My BlackPack ammo was delivered today. Added to the stash. I have been setting aside a couple hundred bucks of the money that normally goes into my savings account monthly just for ammo while prices are this low. I imagine we will be looking back on these prices and wish we bought more by the end of next year.

I still have 5 packs of the .22lr being shipped to my Mom's house. I have seen stuff being posted that they are actually repackaged CCI minimags with a Federal head stamp. Or at the very least they appear to be minimag bullets on federal case/powder.

Confurm. Surefirex300u and tactician... they’re both great but I haven’t ran them through anything besides random handling outside of any classes which I’m sure some of y’all have.

I have an XC1 that I love. Also notice on most of their lights you dont get the bright spots while shining. they are expensive but when james yeager says "buy it or you dont take your gear as serious as your life" I think he means it.

Nothing at all. They’re typically the number one recommended serious use light brand for a reason. Not cheap but definitely the best.

It's a flashlight-guy joke. Non flashlight people worship surefire, it's an inside joke with everybody else that they are overrated and over priced.

Also, the majority of my family's surefires have failed. So our inside joke is that they are unreliable crap as well as being over priced.

They also lag behind on tech, other stuff is always brighter and longer running with more modern emitters and drivers.

This like when non gun people say Glock is the hands down best handgun to ever grace humanity, and nothing else is an option. When only the best will do, you must have the mass name brand recognition of Surefire and Glock.

Inforce is local to me, and the guy who did my pistol permit qual is one of their marketing guys, who I see at every shooting event. Probably going to buy one of these soon.

Surefire is fine...their stuff is usually over-engineered but under-powered. Then you have companies like Fenix that is like the Space-x of light design. Not as robust, but their lights have much better LED technology in general.

You can mod their stuff though if you want the best of both worlds. The light I carried in the army was a G2 with a Malkoff drop-in LED assembly. Hell of a light brighter than factory. It's old AF by today's standards but still running strong on one of my rifles.
