I used to be a big movie fanatic. I would watch a lot of movies, especially foreign films. But with Hollywood basically out of ideas, and the foreign film market getting less creative as well, I am lucky to find a 2 movies I want to watch a month. Crazy considering I would used to watch maybe a dozen in the same time frame years ago.
I think part of it is that ever since the IMDB forums went away, there's been less motivation for me to find out about certain films. But when I check on some film news, it doesn't seem like I'm missing out on much anyway.

It’s not just that modern content lacks the creative element, but the agenda behind most of what is available is so obvious, the SJW/Feminist/Multi-Cultural/Liberal streak runs through most of the stuff coming out and I literally lose all interest the second I see it advertised

Huge movie buff here Opie, and my thoughts mirror yours entirely.
At any given time between the late 90s and 2010, there were always several films on the horizion that I was madly excited about.
Nowadays, there isn't one single movie coming out that I'm looking forward to, and I've felt that way for the past couple of years, if not longer. Alien Covenant was the last movie I was quite hyped for (and ultimately was a huge let down). Most recently 'Mandy' caught my eye, but no local cinemas were showing it. Crazy.
Hollywood is in very, very dark place right now.

I find that, the older my cel gets as I continue to oldcel, the more I hate it when a movie tries to teach me something, or sends out some snowflake libtard message. As time goes by, I just want a lot of smack fighting and cool moves in mma of ass. I want some of that bionic blood and guts chit, like Scarlet HoJohansen playing a Hillary type character and getting her head ripped off by the Punisher. Whew son now I have erection of piss going on son

I love Film and TV. I actually like watching movies of all types of quality, so I tend to check out about 2 movies a week (if they are mediocre, I watch them whilst doing things online). I also have an unlimited cinema pass, and for the past 2 years I've been disappointed with the quality of films overall.
I watch a TV series daily though. Honestly, I think that a lot of the creativity has gone into TV series. There are a lot of great ones.

I didn't have high expectations for Alien Covenant, especially after seeing (legit the worst movie I have ever seen in a cinema) Prometheus.
I wasn't hyped for the following film, but I thought it was friggin awesome...

Best of 2018 IMO.... I Tonya, Infinity War, Red Sparrow, Searching, A Quiet Place, Annihilation, and Deadpool 2.

Just watched Duel and The Hitcher (original) recently. Both good "road horror" movies. I don't watch a sh!t ton of movies, but might start watching more horror flicks like I used to.

I watch less and less media. Most of it is foreign (not American).
Media These Days Is Essentially:
• SJW bulls*t
• Feminist/Interracial/Gay pandering bullchit propaganda.
• Blatant least common denominator bullchit.
Maybe I'm getting old... but I'm not fooled or impressed by any of it, let alone give any of my money towards it.

Hollywood is too pozzed, not into hearing how I should hate myself for being white or about some Marxist egalitarian nonsense about trannies, gays or women.
I'd rather not support these scumbags, besides you can find movies online so **** em.

Hollywood movies are poorly written political propaganda these days. Millennials don't realise it so much because it's all they know but if you grew up in the 80s and 90s the dramatic decline and politicisation of Hollywood is obvious.
