Looks like a knockoff of the 'survivalist series' by Chris Weatherman. lol'ing because Chris gave a positive editorial review as well as Professor Forstchen.

I'd order it but I am completely burnt out on the Post apocalyptic /EMP novels, and just got my next Grayman book in and it is a biggin, EIGHT HUNDRED FRIGGEN PAGES LONG

This will be my first post apocalyptic read and another series book similar to The Terminal List. 4 books in 4 months, I'm on a roll.

right on. How much use does each one have? I have heard they had some issues with low powered shells, which isn't much of a concern as I'll probably just find what it runs and run that, although I may throw a plug in the tube and use it for game bird hunting some time and I would be bummed if it didn't cycle 6 or 7 birdshot.

I feel like a semi is better in most aspects, only real concern I have with them is reliability.

Any pics?
I've got about 200 rounds of 8 birdshot through the JM and it hasn't had any cycling issues.

I've used the other more as I prefer it. I've got a bit more than 500 rounds through it....8 birdshot, slugs, turkey loads. No issues either.

I'm at work so no pics for now

So I get a bit of live TV on the TV, computers, mobile devices, etc, and it's still not that expensive. Heads up on the Dot's... My boss ordered some from the Dot's website after I brought a bag in to try. It was actually cheaper per pound after shipping to order from them vs. Amazon after you get to a certain dollar amount. Their shipping rates are kind of funky so you just have to add it up and see. He ordered on Thursday morning and received them Friday afternoon. I still don't have mine (showing in Memphis for 4 days now).

If USPS you can pretty much consider anything USPS Priority to be 4-6 business days from now until Christmas.

I picked up two google homes for the house. Poverty Sonos but they work great in a house full of tile floor. I don't know why people pay so much for Sonos.

maybe it's the whole listening all the time thing; if it does that like the echo's

sonos seems to be pretty seamless with different zones and pairs etc, so maybe the music interface is better/more customizable?

Sonos is awesome. I have a PlayBar, sub, and 2 play 1s in the living room.

About to add a play 5 for music and another PlayBar or play base in the bedroom.

Relentless or anyone with experience, thinking about a Deltapoint Pro over an RMR for this pistol I’m sending in. Thoughts? I know battery life sucks but whatever I’ll change them once a month. Seems to be a lot of pros going for it.

I know many more people with no complaints about the battery life than people who do. Not to mention, it's a 3 second swap. Easiest battery change of all the red dots out there.

It's a great optic. Just chunky and not ideal for someone wanting a co witness setup. But for a range/competition optic - there is nothing better. Not even an RMR. And I say that strictly due to the DP Pro's bigger window. It is also the ONLY optic besides the RMR that made it through Aaron Cowans insane optic tests without breaking (aside from the one where he purposely drops the gun optic first onto cement from shoulder height. Which is...retarded but whatever.)

TLDR: DP Pro is a great dot. Go for it.

Surprised to hear that about the DP pro. Mac was hating on his in his Sig Sour M17 video he did, but I think that probably had more to do with the gun it was on, than the optic. Atleast there's the option to get some screw on rear sight thing so you can actually use the irons unlike the dumb as fuk Sig Romeo optic I have on my P320

Yes the DP Pro does have a rear iron you can attach. Cool idea but overall usually isn't' practical because it's so tall, it requires a ridiculously big front sight.

I love the DP Pro. But I only recommend it for someone who does't care about having a co witness sight setup.

I had an original print hardcover signed by Mr. Ross

I lent it to someone I thought was a good friend. He said he was still reading it when I moved to VT so I said mail it to me when you are done. He then moved to AZ and changed his number and deleted all social media accounts

Damn, he went through a lot of trouble just to keep that book. Must be a good one. Don't you have some contacts that could "find" him though?
