I just realized who Meatie reminds me of. You ever watch poker tournaments? There's always one guy who commentates the action seriously, and then the other commentator just says a lot of stupid **** the whole time trying to make a poker game interesting. He's the other guy.

My thrunite v6 showed up and I plugged it in and it’s flashing purple meaning abnormal charge. Wtf. I saw some models listed online where it says to turn it in which puts it in charging mode but I’ve tried that and nothing. What could cause an abnormal charge?

Had to sign up for BRCC coffee club again. Buying this star bucks mocha every morning is getting expansive.

Gonna try out cold brewing. Supposed to be more tasty than hot coffee?

year supposed to be less bitter cause I guess when you cold brew it doesn't cause those oils you see o top of the hot coffee to come out of the beans during normal hot brew

Here's what I use when I make cold brew.

I use an electric drill on the lowest speed with the grinder and is cost effective. Ive always wanted a larger pot. The one I posted the link to will get you about 3 cups.

Edit: I would get this pot to have more choffee.

It will work. Its low capacity and that's never a good thing. If you can return it, I would. Fresh ground cold brew is delicious.

I started with these beans and decided to try a Costco dark bulk buy and I was just as pleased. Gotta go dark on cold brew imo. Let's not forget the cost savings.

I thought cold brew was usually stronger? Lol damnit I purposely bought light roast so I could avoid adding milk and sugar. I don’t like strong, acidic tasting coffee.

Remember the incident awhile back where Aurora police shot a 73 year old man whose house was invaded and who saved his grandson? Bodycam video released and officer will not be charged. I still say bad shoot from the video. Cop shoots from well outside the house the split second he sees the flashlight come up. Gun is clearly in the other hand at waist level. Tragic, confusing situation . . . but seems like there was opportunity to let that settle down and to have things better figured out.

Action starts about :55 in when you hear what is the old man shooting the attacker. Then it escalates from there.

The good thing about cold brewing is that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get into. 4 dollar cold brews at Starbucks is a crime.

Yeah IDK.

You say opportunity to let it settle down, but that sounds like a kind of waiting to me and as far as the police know the intruder is in there executing people...the hate they played it slow and waited for that to happen.

They also yelled out about dropping the gun several times while the guy was seemingly in audible range.

But then they did shoot into the house at him (could have stayed back and used doorframe for cover etc etc) when they had lights and eyes on him and you would think could have seen the gun vs the flashlight...but then maybe when he raises the flashlight at them they can't see through/past that to tell where the gun hand is and feel like the gun will be following that light at any moment.

It's just ****tiness all over, sometimes maybe you are kind of ****ed, whichver side of that you are on.

Would be so paranoid in that situation about cops shooting me, srs. Last thing I'm doing is answering the door with a gun in hand or shining a flashlight at them or anything, gotta assume they're undertrained panicky idiots to stay safe

Yeah, I don't want to put anything on the home defender who was taking care of business, but, there is a group of LE out there in uniform with guns and lights out shouting commands for awhile, shining your light in their face with the gun in your hand isn't ideal.

Then again he just faced a home invader and fired shots with I'm sure no hearing protecting inside a house, probably a huge adrenaline dump, and may not have a clue who else is out there, keep gun down and safe direction (even though the ones out there are pointing guns at you...) use light to identify, seems logical...it just sucks.
