Pellet smokers are popular af and are essentially outdoor ovens. Put whatever in at whatever temperature and forget about it. Traeger and the like (Green Mountain, Louisiana Grills, etc.) are all good choices. Weber Smokey Mountains are considerably less expensive and don't rely on electricity to run, but they require you to get to know the smoker to figure out how to manage temperatures. Offset stick burners like Oklahoma Joes are really great imo, but they require considerable effort which many people enjoy. Most people probably end up with a cabinet style either electric or propane.

Sure does beat keeping an eye at the fire temp every ten degrees. I use a cast iron skillet instead of the bowl they give and use an over pan for the water bowl. I should have been more clear - the newer models have an actual thermostat, not just a thermometer in the door. The knob has a temperature setting like an oven rather than just low to high flame, and it's connected to a wired probe that goes into the smoke box and is installed pretty much dead center, about where you would want to stick your own probe thermometer and auto adjusts the flame to try and maintain the temperature you selected. On my older model I was using the wireless (lol, seems funny to say that considering the probes are on long ass wires) thermometer to monitor temp. I was going to use it to see how well the thermostat on the new one was working, but the batteries died and I just never replaced them. lol.

Seems like they're showing up and no one is giving them any of the important details they should know. They're being told their grandson is getting drowned by a drug addict while some guy casually walks out of the front door and no one's saying who TF he is. Yeah, he may have been hard of hearing and confused after shooting inside, but I don't know if the cops had a whole lot of options after he wouldn't put the gun down and looked to be moving towards them, meanwhile no one outside felt it pertinent to mention Grandpa was inside doing work.

The FDE night sight gun had the loosest slide and an ok trigger but not as good.

The black regular sight one had a terrible creepy trigger. Like wtf.

I really didn’t want a threaded barrel one but it was the nicest of the three so maybe.

Looks like CZ did a nice job. But still. Nothing touches a custom milled slide. There's way too many reasons to get it custom milled than settle for the optics ready model. Especially when there's no good reason to try out multiple optics. Everyone knows what's junk and what isn't. Buy a good optic, have slide milled, be done with it.
