Hope it's not a ploy because he has a desperate need for bicycling gear wile not being able to afford it. At the same time it seems like so much can go wrong in a chithole like that and I hope the guy is genuine and somehow makes a full recovery.

I made a thread about Dan (bbinThialand) and his issue. It didn't get locked so I must have missed the other thread on this.

I'm not surprised the mods would try to lock that discussion. It's ****ed up but I get it I guess. I just hope the guy is ok and the people making jokes about him and kicking him while he's down probably think they're being funny or cute need to re evaluate themselves.

If its actually legit (there have been many frauds of this nature on this website.) then I feel for the guy regardless of how he found himself in this situation. That being said, choosing to have surgery in a third world country over returning home is a horrible decision. Wouldn't ever want to kick someone while their down but if your life is essentially a giant vacation it's going to be pretty hard to get people to part with money that they work for every day.

Like that 600lb guy that lost weight, raised thousands for his surgery to remove the excess skin, then regained all the weight before he could have the skin removal surgery. Miscers didnt get the money back, he pocketed it. Wont come on misc anymore.

On the bright side he will be able to bulk a lot easier since he will potentially lose 40lbs from the missing leg. He can save the money he would have otherwise spent on food to pay for the operation.

Him. Boostbrah, Cicksunt, etc. It's happened quite a few times on here. Also a warning to people RE gofundme. I donated to some dude's gofundme local to me a couple years ago. Twenty bucks, no big deal. About a week after I got a two hundred dollar charge that showed up as gofndme/irishwedding on my CC statement. Tried to cancel it, Visa did an investigation and somehow determined it was legit, never got removed.

I sinscerly believe Dan is not scamming people because this guy has a been a member here for years. He isn't always active posting but he runs a youtube channel, a lot of people know him pretty well through his videos. He is a good guy, maybe not the brightest and makes the best decisions but if you'd been following him, you'd know he at least doesn't deserve the amount of ridicule and judgement he's getting in the thread. I just don't think he'd be so open about himself and his life so much and then suddenly do something that evil out of nowhere. His entire career is through the internet, social media, etc so it would be very drastic of him to throw that all away on a fake GoFundMe story.
