I got into a fight with a girl who worked at hooters last night

I went out to a co workers improv battle last night with a co worker of mine and a gal (they were both female). long story short a family friend of mine texted me if I was out and I said yes, you may join us since we were grabbing drinks at a dive bar after the show. They showed up though and I never should have invited them out (they were heavily intoxicated).

And inbetween the both of them bragging about how hot they looked on their instagram photos of the day (my co worker and I were like.. "no one cares, but ok"), the other girl that this girl brought over said she was a waitress at hooters. I said, something like "wow, I didn't know hooters was still a thing, we have those left?".

And she got defensive, but then I said that I personally feel uncomfortable going into hooters and ordering food from barely clothed women - just personally I don't like it and don't really agree with it. Then she got super pissed off saying she felt attacked and that she makes $1,600 a week (weird flex but okay, should I tell you how much I make? I promise you it's more) and that how dare I say something like that to imply she wasn't wholesome. She said "how do you feel when you go to strip clubs" - I don't, I also don't like going to strip clubs.

So I said to her that she doesn't have to be here if she didn't want to. She slammed her beer and left. My other friend (who dragged in this muff cabbage) apologized to me and said we could catch up this weekend.

Was a super weird night misc. But, my co worker and other friend were relieved they left.

Was I in the wrong though? I stand by what I said - I personally feel uncomfortable going into hooters (btw, I don't even REMEMBER the last time I ate at one?). I don't like the whole concept of a barely dressed woman taking my order and leveraging her looks for a larger tip, and I don't feel "good" about the whole setting of a hooters.

Although I'm a libcuck, I agree with you.

I don't feel comfortable supporting an establishment that does that. I don't want to support women who have nothing to offer besides physical appearances. No respect for that. I also don't go to strip clubs.

Basically, I'm saying this: I know you think you're too good to go to these places and to be around these types of woman. I agree with you. We can get better.
