But when the end result is something like this:

Worth it it is!
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

In on this! What do you guys think my BF% is?

I need to bring up my traps. Also shoulders have come a long way, but my frame is narrow so not a lot I can do about that.

9-11%, looking very lean, would suggest heavy cheat style barbell rows for traps tbh

I look like chubby hot ****. Partly due to just coming back from a bad injury.

But yea my physique is **** too.

Gonna cut hard af and leave humanity behind with my next bulk if you feel me.

I’m probs what , 20% bf?

Sorry for quality. Imgur keeps resizing my pics for some reason.[/QUOTE]
Responding from the other thread brah

I'd guess you're about 18-20%, with a slightly below average amount of muscle. With the same amount of fat and about 5-8 lb. of muscle more you would look pretty good.

If I were you I'd do exactly what you're saying, cut off about 10-15 lb. of fat until you're decently lean, then slow bulk for several months, rinse, repeat. Wouldn't be crazy to think you could put 10+ pounds of muscle on in a year, end up with the same volume of fat you currently have, and look much juicier.

Damn.

if I remember correctly last time I was in the 10-12% range I was 175 ish give or take a few lbs for water and that was two years ago so I’d imagine it’d be a little more now. I definitely see a slight difference since then but I guess I carry all my weight in my bones if I look like the average untrained man.

Thanks for the brutal honesty thou.

Oh I’ll definately be making some gains this next bulk cycle. Unholy gainz.......

Maybe then i can finally start lifting.........

I don't know if if it exclusive to me, but do you guys start to feel anxious or paranoid at lower bodyfats? Like, I'm not that concerned about hunger, but I swear being 8ish, 9ish BF makes me feel angsty like a teenager.

Well, maybe not for the same reason. I'm 38 and started lifting about 1.5 years ago. I had an 'aesthetics moment' a week ago or so while brushing my teeth - I saw the musculature of my upper back. But it both surprised me and made me uncomfortable, because I feel like the goal I have set for myself is realistic but will take years to achieve. And I'm worried that seeing aesthetics progress will make me slack off. I don't want to slack off until I hit major fitness/aesthetics goals that I'm nowhere close to, but hope to achieve. And seeing progress sometimes makes me anxious that I'll start taking it easy again.

So not what you're feeling but yeah I can get the angst at seeing the bodyfat drop, muscles show...and the psychological aspect that I mention above.

If i look back from 10 months ago i can see a difference but it doesn't feel like it. Natty gains are so slow. If i can gain 5 lbs more slowly i think i'll be alright

Well, I'm about to take a break for the remainder of the year, so I thought I would throw up a few pics to close out 2018. These were taken last week after being off my diet for about month.

This marks 30 years for me as I started this journey in 1988.

Spoiler!

^^ impressive dude. I kinda failed my cutting this year tbh, but I'm not even mad. Still hovering ~12/13% -- just got distracted with social life and will be for the rest of the year. I do plan to cut to ~10% in the new year though.

Thank you! I been kind of the same way breezing through this year, just enjoying life so I really didn't drop below 12/13%, but my wife and I are planning to get after it hard for 2019!

Same. I'm still in the 170's but high 170's. After the Christmas food is gone, I'm dropping down for 2019 Aesthetics Crew!

Kinda have the same problem, lower abs are weak but its also due to some belly fat. Ive made better progress doing lower ab exercises than actually going below 10%.
