why the flying f would you intentionally adopt if you're not even married?

You're willing to commit to raising a human together for 18+ years but you're not even willing to legally be attached to each other? This is the root cause of almost all social ills in the last 30 years.

Beyond that.... anyone I've ever known adopting a child from somewhere far away has done it for some sort of currency in their liberal social circle.

What is African about basketball and rap music, you fuking idiot? These are AMERICAN. They have nothing to do with race. Most black people in Europe and America have virtually none of Africa's culture. You have no idea what you're talking about. Even to generalize entire continents, such as Africa or Europe, by a single culture is downright ridiculous. Do you realize how different Germany is from the UK or France? Do you know how different Irish people are from English?

Well let's not be hasty now, we will be getting married. My girlfriend has said how much she'd love to have young Adebowale in the wedding photos.

Plan of action is basically

1) Pass adoption process
2) Gf picks her wedding dress n plans for special day
3) Have an amazin' wedding and have Adebowale's first experiences in this country being of love, union and commitment. Really getting him started on the right foot

His identity will be the same as those he grows up around. Instead of immediately making him feel different for his skin color, you should realize he is a child. He will find his own identity. It's not PC. PC is racist. PC is to reduce everything to "black" or "white" and to treat people differently and generalize based on race. Example of PC: "I better not say n--a in front of a black guy, but I will say it wih my other friends!" That's fuking stupid. If you say n--a, say it in front of all your friends. Don't treat your black friend differently just because he is black.

I think what you're doing is really beautiful OP, and representative of just how intersectional the world has become

However you should consider naming your kid Abimbola, it means "born with wealth" which I think is beautiful

Maybe even blend together African culture with African-American culture by naming him "Abimbola 50 Cent opslastname", thereby showing how we all live on the same planet while still retaining his (presumably his) roots
