It's probably correlated, but there are tons of high IQ Chads and Staceys. I think once you reach a certain level of intelligence, it can be very hard to relate to regular people. But it doesn't have to be that way. One of the smartest dudes ever, John Von Neumann, was, by all accounts, extremely personable and chill with everyone. He is said to have been able to converse very well with people at all levels of understanding.

Healthy, attractive people usually have to put a lot of effort into working out, eating a specific diet, cultivating a particular appearance and style, etc. Most people who are exceptionally smart and succesful in research fields or engineering usually dedicate all available time to their crafts. This means they usually are in mediocre health and fitness and often neglect their appearances. You are ignoring the fact that each person has a finite amount of time to allocate, and also that as one goes more in depth in research, the problems become more difficult and time consuming. A good example of this is neurosurgeons, who often have terrible health and ruined personal lives due to the insane hours they work performing their jobs and doing research. Sometimes, to really be at the top of a field, a lot of people will sacrifice more than what is healthy to get there. This applies to everyone from Ronnie Coleman to Bill Gates.

Doesn't mean that you can't have a good balance. What is funny is that people who are attractive tend to have slightly higher iqs than average, but it's just a correlation. And I'd imagine that if you surveyed people of exceptionally high iqs, you would find a negative correlation between that and attractiveness.

I'd hesitate to judge anyone's intelligence by appearance. I've seen far too many really smart people who legit looked like homeless people to draw that conclusion or even assert any trend. And I've seen far too many good looking retards, too! Also, you really can't tell when you look at old people.

Best advice I can say is to try not to be too quick to judge anyone. That goes for physical appearance, health, intelligence, etc. You don't really know the guy's journey. That 300 lb dude moght have run a marathon 10 years ago and fuked up his knee. That raggedy looking sloot might have battled cancer, had to have her tits removed, and permanently fuked her metabolism. That guy who seems really dumb might be suffering from severe depression or suffered a traumatic brain injury. Try not to judge people without knowing their story. That's good advice for all of us.

I love people and people enjoy being around me, mostly due to my sense of humor, but I tend to be lonely. I also enjoy being alone because I always end up fascinating and amusing others, but few do me. So, I'd rather be alone than have to amuse people all the time.

I have a very nice girlfriend who I love, but the best girl I ever met in my life is from Philly. She was totally hilarious and had an unpredictable wit. However, she grew up under horrible circumstances and had a serious drug problem. So, we never got together. Her daughter used to call me Superman because she thought I was like the character, which of course delighted me and made me love her.

The point of that story is that when your smart and have been exposed to amazing people like you, most pale in comparison, so it's better to be alone.

A long time ago in psychology there was something called an "autistic personality" and that predated the mental retardation like diagnosis we have today. An Autistic Personality was connected to very creative people because they don't "live in the world" but in their minds inventing new worlds. You can always pick out an example who doesn't fit the norm, but the scientific literature speaks in favour of Chrysippus.

Think about it this way: Intelligent men are more likely to achieve a high status job and are seen as more attractive. Therefore they are more likely to mate with attractive women. Both intelligence and attractiveness are a heritable trait.

OP's arguments are flawed and is just a coping strategy to not have to acknowledge that he himself does not meet the standards on which he assesses high status males.
