How do you know I'm not in the 110-120 range? You do know a lot of people have iq around or below 100? Being introverted plus higher iq could be my problem. I cant relate to peoples conversations usually. I'm quiet but there is more to it because I feel like I have to dumb myself down when I talk to people.

I can relate to people that think deep into subjects and most of these people were engineers, electricians, meteorologists etc. Smarter people tend to talk differently i've noticed. My grandpa is an electrician and is extremely smart and i can talk to him all day. We exchange ideas and thoughts on intellectual topics every time we talk. I can't relate to most people so i assume my IQ might be higher than normal. I never tried in school but i have always been obsessed with weather, the universe, consciousness and stuff like that. I just can't see myself being below 100 IQ. I definitely don't think i'm over 120 either though.

According to several academic studies, high Intelligence is associated with deep emotions, with very sensitive persons, weak personalities, and personalities with lack of social and communication skills. So, a person with very high IQ, chances are that he has all the characteristics of an extremely unattractive man.

And, please don’t confuse looks, because an introverted insecure guy, introvert with no humor and communication and social skills, weak emotionally, and very sensitive, is a disgusting guy in most of women’s eyes regardless of his looks.

I know that most people confuse the social skills and social intelligence with the high IQ, but it is what it is anyway. Most intelligent famous people useful in humanity were introverted guys semi - autistic.

I’m a loner, it’s because I hate people. I am extremely judgemental and once I decide that I don’t like you I am blatantly obvious about it. This includes any single human on earth, including my own family. My IQ is somewhat above average, I test high on standardized tests but math is a bad subject for me. My intelligence is mainly based on how the human brain works...lol I’m very good at manipulating people and understanding them. I’m also pretty logical when it comes to outside situations. I am learning to be logical when it comes to my own these days.

Edit- I am not lonely.. I like being alone and can entertain myself. I do not like being single though- so every once in a while I do crave a male companion. I don’t like casual relationships with them, and that what they all seem to want.. so in that aspect I guess I am lonely.

Those personality tests that you take online are bull****, dear. For one, you can never be 100% accurate about your own thoughts and behavior, plus your mood at any given time can sway your responses(not to mention, people like to pick the choice that they think will give them the diagnosis that they want). Anyone that goes around throwing around those letters, like they really mean anything is nimwitted...

How so?

I shouldn’t actually say that I hate people- in a room of say 20 people, I would probably get along very well with 1 or 2 of them, tolerate 3 or 4, and then find the rest annoying.. the ones that I find annoying- I wouldn’t engage with unless forced to or it was beneficial towards my life somehow.

I have a very nice girlfriend who I love, but the best girl I ever met in my life is from Philly. She was totally hilarious and had an unpredictable wit. However, she grew up under horrible circumstances and had a serious drug problem. So, we never got together. Her daughter used to call me Superman because she thought I was like the character, which of course delighted me and made me love her.

The point of that story is that when your smart and have been exposed to amazing people like you, most pale in comparison, so it's better to be alone.

If you throw me in a room with 20 people i will only talk to the introverted/intellectual types. I can't connect with people unless they start talking about chit that you hear on a Joe Rogan podcast or something. The problem is the internet is the only place i hear about stuff like this. Most people just small talk about random things irl or tell stories. I cannot relate at all. It has to be intellectually based.

IQ 110-120 isnt high its slightly above average. Not really mogging anyone with your intelligence.

140+ is what I'd consider high since most the tradies bring the population average down to 100.

uck me. I'm gonna regret this post... I just know it. It's gonna turn into me making a thread.
My gf is at her parent's house... so I was high on designer drugs and fapping before I wrote this

Ahem....

IQ is a bull**** half-truth. The concept of IQ at best offers zero benefit to humanity and at worst serves as a moronic distraction meant to divide us.
It's my extremely strong opinion that IQ tests **** everyone over: Test takers, scorers, witnesses, the press, and the people who view whichever scores are published.

>>>>

Last I checked, I had an astronomical IQ; haven't checked in years because all it ever did was give me an ego; instead of being some random cross section of my present cognitive state, my IQ was attributed to multiple "medical abnormalities" such as a warrior gene variant, alper's disease, "idiopathic" hypercatecholaminemia, "apophotic" synesthesia / ideasthesia, asperger's etc.

I believed that crap for years and it held me back.
Bull**** half-truth's just like IQ.

There is no such thing as a diagnosis.
There is no such thing as an indicated treatment.
There is no such thing as informed medical consent.

There is no such thing as an introvert or a high functioning "lonely person".
It is my belief that introverts do not exist.
Bull**** term.

I'd rather not lick the asses of our bull**** models of medicine / psychiatry / psychology.
They have never been more inaccurate as they are today. I would know:

It is my belief that "lonely" individuals lacking obvious social challenges fall into one of two categories:

Ego Dissonance: Whether they are consciously aware or not... on some level they know everything is bull****.
On some level they aren't willing to play the same game as everyone else.
If so, this is an ego/identity/priority problem.

Identity Dissonance:They are exhibiting a form of learned helplessness as a defense/escape mechanism.

Imho, loneliness goes something like this, albeit far more context sensitive than the text would imply:

loneliness = (tendency to reject societal bull**** / institutionalization) + (learned helplessness AND/OR independence) + (confusion AND/OR narcissism) + (indoctrination)

You saying you are lonely makes me suspect that you legitimately engage zero productive or creative outlets during your day.
If you would just take up a passion ... people will gravitate to you. ****.

It is my extremely strong opinion that nearly every "typical" person is born with "genius" capacity; in order to function as a society and accept the bull****, you intellectually and emotionally castrate yourself during the first few years of life. I believe this is something most people would rather not undo.

Posting all of this ahead of time since the misc will no doubt ask for credentials. Below is what I had nearby. I forgot to notarize my finger painting ofc.

When I was a little kid, the elementary school counselor thought it would be a grand idea for me to take a psych assessment...
My teachers were stumped that I had 100s on every test yet refused to do even a single assignment in class or at home.
They forgot to mention that I got along well with everyone and had zero cognitive challenges. I just gave zero ****s.
My parents of course obliged. They were worried about me lmao.

I didn't give a **** about the psych test. I scored all over the place.
The school looked at the results and bumped me back 4 grades (I had skipped 4).
I spent the following years playing computer and looking up porn lol. Classes were boring as ****. 100s on every test; failed tons of classes lmao.
Graduated years early due to bull**** policies courtesy of the bush administration.
Was still stuck in high school until age 16... also due to the bush administration
... despite being a junior in university.
Bush. Bush. Bush.

When I was like 16, one of my schools (I was in university as well as HS) had a recruiter drop by. I think it was the high school.
Taking the ASVAB + attending seminar = day off from school.
I spent a few mins on the test and scored a 99 with 138-140s across the board (140 was the max back then, I don't know about now).
I didn't know 80% of the answers going in... but the answer choices taught me the subjects as I went.

I finger painted this **** when I was 4 years old for my father, since I heard him say that he missed his house on the bosporus.
The sight was from a trip my family took when I was 3.

^^ Posted all of this ahead of time since the misc will no doubt ask for credentials. I forgot to notarize my finger painting doe.

Hopefully everything above made zero sense to you.

Or do people become high IQ because they are lonely.

As someone who notices every little detail & movement when hanging with someone, you might gain some wisdom by studying other people and yourself trying to figure out what is wrong

Hmm. Who's the judge of that claim?
I would be skeptical of anyone's claim of being able to "notice every little detail & movement".

It's my opinion that many people who actively CLAIM that they are suffering from chronic loneliness are narcissists.
They have already expressed concern about themselves.
Loneliness is a singular issue of perception; it is entirely subjective in all realms of the ontological, epistemological, and methodological.

In my admittedly limited 27 years experience, they usually don't have any real passions or anchors to the real world.

IMHO, it's a learned helplessness. Their own identity is drowned out by the schizophrenic voices of a consumer society.
If you pay attention, you'll see that chronically vocal "lonely people" are really just predators acting like prey. They are sociopaths screaming for attention and looking for an easy fix.

I doubt they are even aware of it.

I'm gonna tell you like this OP. As someone who is on the intelligent side, and also decently attractive, I don't have issues making friends, or meeting women. If you do then it's because you're not attractive enough and not intelligent enough.

If you were indeed intelligent, you would figure out a way to fix your lonelycel problem. If you were attractive, you wouldn't have a lonelycel problem in the first place. But somehow you see yourself as both above average in looks and in mental capacity, yet you're a povertycel, a lonelycel, an autistcel, etc. What's more likely, that you're a good looking, smart guy, who both can't get a friend, or a decent job, or that you're just an ugly, greasy, dumb guy, who doesn't know what he's talking about?
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

\I've always been a loner and i was the complete opposite of a narcissist/sociopath until i was age 26-27. You couldn't find someone who was nicer and smiled more around people than me. That has all changed recently though. I am becoming more of a narcissist because of the isolation.

I simply cannot connect with people unless they seem very intellectual or introverted.

What do you base your claims off of btw? From where I'm standing, it looks like you're parroting the collective bull**** of either post-WWI era behaviorism psychology... or... if i look at your sig... It looks as if you're trying to offset an autism diagnosis (which you believe) with some "officially sanctioned conjecture" that you're intelligent... naturally, you need the misc's approval.

You're wasting a massive mental real estate on an emotional loop atm. You're smart as **** and it's obvious.

The answer is this dude: Society is willfully stupid, indoctrinated, absent minded, schizophrenic, asleep, and deceived by itself.

I think there is legit correlation between introverted personality types being more "intelligent" mentally.

Lol, you're an INTJ? I took the Myers Briggs test a few tmes after seeing the discussions about it on the Misc and I am INTJ also. I'm betting a lot of people on here are. I also took it when I was drunk for fun and answered honestly as if that was how my personality always is and was ENFP. So if you wanna be extroverted maybe become an alchoholic bruh (not srs)

Srs question, do you have a diagnosis of Mental Illness? I asked my therapist about those stupid tests and she said they actually have merit so I was like awfukbye.

After that I had 2 male friends (the only ones I have lol) and my wife take the test and before they took it I wrote down what I thought they would be. Guessed 2 of them spot on and one was off by one letter but he's kind of an enigma.

ESTJ and ENFP for 2 male friends I believe and my girl was ISTP.

We say we derive pi from a circle... but it's the other ****ing way around.

Everyone is so ass backwards and their ego is too bloated to see it. You ****ing dunces.
It's more efficient to open a banana from the bottom, yet I haven't seen ONE person do it.

We don't even do trig right. String theory is so ****ing off it's hilarious. Our medicine is ass backwards (license posted above) and we can't even treat our patients properly due to the authoritative medical hegemony. We can't even perform research properly.

Go look at what "effective marketing" is... It's aimed at a 4th to 6th grade LEVEL. Look how ****ing LAZY we are.
We are willfully stupid.

Myers briggs is a bit of a joke, no offense. It is hardly open ended, modular, or subject to change. It is an old ****ing system that fits a simplistic narrative of the human psyche. It's lazy. Start with something like the enneagram and go from there.

There is no such thing as an introvert. Introversion is a pathological manifestation.

FYI, I've studied every psych course from the pseudoscience era to the "cognitive evolutionary psychology" era (2013+). They all suck ass. Every last narrative is bull**** that people soak up. Still waiting on those PM's so I can **** you all up with some truth.

I'm not offended at all. I dont go around saying im an INTP ever lol. I actually don't think it's valid for a number of reasons. She said that they're not supposed to change during the course of a life which is bullshiet because I was an extrovert when I was a kid. After the military and suffering from panic disorder and MDD it magically changed.

Will look up ennegram and report back in a PM maybe. Thanks bruh!

Im higher IQ than most people that's for sure but i am not sure if that's a good thing anymore. Less intelligent people seem to be way more happy and enjoy their life.

My head is always full of thoughts, I overthink everything and I am always depressed. The only good time I have is when I am on alcohol or other substances, but then if hangover kicks in I have to sleep all day because I get existential thoughts that make me even more depressed. School and university were so fuking easy (STEM degree), but now once I have graduated from my Master's with top marks I feel like I still haven't achieved anything.

I have a lot of friends that I hang out with but I still prefer to be alone most of the time. I am a loner sober but when I get drunk I turn 180 degrees and become like a crazy party guy type lol, blackout most of the time tho so can't remember much.

I was an alcoholic and i when i was drinking i was much lower inhibition compared to my sober self. I made friends easier and was a very social guy. I also was able to get girls. The alcohol dumbed me down though. The only time i was this fun low inhibition character was when i was drinking or smoking tobacco no joke.

I also have been to enough doctors and psychiatrists to no that so much of it is BS. I am not saying they can't ever help someone but i see it as a scam. Hence why most people are on 5 different meds for things like mild arthritis and anxiety. It isn't needed but people eat it right up.

I am usually one of the most attractive guys when i am out. I simply cannot talk to people well because i am so high inhibition and a realist though, and i need conversations to be mostly intellectually based. I can make jokes and tell some stories like most people but it's rare. For example if someone starts talking about Joe Rogan podcasts i can talk all day, but if people are just talking about tv shows or telling random stories i can't relate.
