She was never yours, it was just your turn.
In all cerealness, if she cooked, cleaned, cared for you why'd you break up with her? Not buying the "experience" thing, there must be something else that made you not want to commit. how old are you op? Been through a couple tough breakups where I thought I found "the one". Each one was a learning experience, I came out a better man both times, sometimes it's what we need. The first few months will eat you up inside, it'll be all you can think about but that's normal. Stick to your goals, focus on yourself and trust me, it gets better.

We had stupid fights.... because we were together so often. I think that's what drove the relationship sour. LOVED waking up to her every day, and sleeping by her side, but we definitely had certain things personality traits that really annoyed each other. I'd pick stupid fights like she wasn't giving me bj's as often as the beginning of the relationship as well.
Truly though it was the experience thing that made me disconnect and push her away. I knew down the road I would be in the same position, wondering if I truly love her or if I just love having a girlfriend. Didn't feel like it was fair. Now that we've separated... I definitely feel like I love her haha but of course I would feel this way.

You'll be in a cycle of regret just because it was a long-term relationship, and you gave a solid part of your life to her. 21 - 24 is definitely a time of growth: graduation through university, employment, moving out, etc.
It's hard to think about right now because she was your closest person (next to family) where you experienced that unconditional love - and now it's all gone. The feelings you get are completely normal - especially because it's your first GF for a long time.
Everyone will have those doubts, and its hard not to think about it when you haven't had much experience. Unfortunately for most miscers, they may be incels so for them it's harder to grasp having life experience for a better judgment.
The best advice you can get is honestly No Contact. It really is the simplest solution. Venting here is fine, but I guarantee you are still keeping tabs on her, and that's the worst thing. You'll still have temptation to go visit her profile, social media, etc. and that's fine...but it needs to become less and less. That's why the best thing to do is eliminate it altogether so you can make it easier.
You're still fairly young, and you'll bounce back np. You'll look back at this thread after a year and realize how funny it was you were acting. Once you start dating again, you'll realize that there's more out there for you.

three years is three years brother. it's not the end of the world. you'll both meet new people and get on with your lives. new relationships will follow same trajectory as this one did.. honeymoon phase is all the same. recycled QandA period, new set of "firsts" with another person. the older you get the more disenchanted you will become vesting so much time/interest into what inevitably becomes flavor of the week.
I'd say you held onto this ltr longer than necessary out of habit and naiveté. the odds you found your most compatible/best genetic choice for longterm partnership on first drop in bucket are pretty delusional. as cliche as it may sound don't lose hope. almost everybody just wants to love and be loved in return..
spend as much time as possible finding who you are/would like to become independent of anyone else. you'll figure out what you love and how to love yourself more as the years pass. god willing a person that compliments you well/vice versa will appear on your path back to creator.
cheers m8, keep on keepn on

She really was a true 8/10... 5'9 blonde girl, blue eyes, perfect face, etc. ... with such loyal qualities / morals. I'm sure there will be others, but it'll be damn hard to find that im sure of as well

I’m glad some people have pointed out the flaming hypocrisy of the misc responses to this post.
I am your age OP. If I posted that I dumped a wonderful, loyal guy because I need to “experience more life” aka more Chad cawk, I can only imagine the responses.
I’m not trying to be hard on you but women like that are rare and you wasted a big chunk of her time. Imagine how you’d feel if you gave heart and soul to your gf, all the while having many other options (which she does) and remaining loyal.
But then she dumps you because she wants to taste strange tinder penis.
You should feel kind of bad if you aren’t a sociopath.
The grass isn’t always greener. I hope for your sake you don’t regret this.

I feel like I would have never truly known if I love the girl otherwise. It could just be me loving having a girlfriend. I had to do this because if not now then it would happen later and it would hurt her more.
But i've definitely fked up, and I probably am a bit of a narcissistic sociopath tbh.
Last week... she was arguing with me just trying to get me to fight for her. I left her in her room crying and said she's not worth fighting for at the moment. Then I went out and partied with my friends. I took ***** and drank and then texted her telling her im 100% done and chit while she was trying to be heartfelt.
That was the day she fell out of love with me. Understandably. I've fked up quite a bit for sure. But again.... it would not have been fair to her for me to keep wondering if I truly love her. And truth is... she is just 20 years old.... she has a lot of growing to do as well and was in a previous relationship from 15-17 as well.
She said she now needs some time to be herself, not somebodies girlfriend. To grow independently and figure out who she is.
I'll be mourning for a while for sure. And I may regret it. But I feel like I would have regret either way.

Question though OP, every relationship has minor annoyances and arguments that occur, no one is perfect. Why do you think that the next girlfriend wont have these issues? Or is it that you need to understand how chitty some girls can be in relationships to really respect partners that are genuinely supportive? I have only been in one relationship so sometimes this thought ponders me.

I had a conversation with my friends last night about married life as opposed to single life. Married life gets stale and old after awhile and when you're out drinking and having fun there are all these single ladies running around and the chase is fun. The fun part is getting to know someone and learn about them and see their puss for the first time. Then after 8-9 times it's like, "huh. Been there done that.".
Thing is bro, you have to look at the big picture. Humans, especially girls, are mostly the same. Everyone has their little quirks and differences but whats to "experience" with someone else? People who are single long for true love and to be with someone because that's how society wants us to be. Married with kids, a house, car, job etc. Married people want to be single because being single is "fun". Well, in the end, what does it all matter? You have to ask yourself that.

Trust me, you will both go through many more break ups in both your lifetimes. You will look back at this someday and shrug your shoulders and wonder why you were so upset. I mean I look back at my relationships back then and just laugh. They are nothing. Though at the time you think they are everything.
Right now you are just missing the feeling of having someone there for you. As time goes by you will realize it was not for the best to stay together. If you were fighting that much and arguing the way you were? It was not the right relationship for either of you.

I definitely long for having somebody grow with me. To support me. To wake up with me on sunday morning... cuddle, eat breakfast together, just be there for each other.

Now that you told me her age (20-21), you did the right thing. She is very young, and she will probably start getting the same feels after a while. I think dating and relationships are very good from 18 - 24. There's a lot of learning to be done. It's unfortunate if it ends, but people will change a lot during that time.
OP,I'd say your dumb if you were both my age and decided upon this as the "typical misc advice". But since she is way younger than you, there will be a lot of growth for the both of you.
Also LOL at the misc for this justification of "letting her go is bad news". Of course they jumped to conclusions without getting more information. OP will find another girl in about 2 years, who will probably fit qualities he wants. OP needs to figure himself out so he knows what he wants

Sorry Op, but you f**ked up.
You got her before any "parade of c**ks", before the emotional baggage started to accumulate, you got along well, she loved you, you describe her as your best friend.....and you threw it away for some intangible "what if". This is going to haunt you down the road, when you're bored of the countless crazy women you're going to encounter. Once you become bored of new p**sy (and you will), you're going to have an existential moment of terror realize what exactly you threw away all those years ago.
If you spend your whole life looking for the next best thing, you're going to miss out on the moment entirely.
You may find someone (and I really hope you do), but the reality is, a deep, meaningful connection is a rare thing.
I don't understand what it is with people who can't be satisfied. There's risks worth taking, and then there's your out of control ego.

I definitely long for having somebody grow with me. To support me. To wake up with me on sunday morning... cuddle, eat breakfast together, just be there for each other.
lots of lateral raises
Yeah I do believe i'm just missing the feeling of somebody there for me. Who knows though it might be genuine love for the girl. Thats what I need to find out. Unfortunately she has moved on to the point where we would not get back together though. After my drunk texts and chit... I killed that. Originally she said it was a possibility to get back together after a bit of time to grow.

Right now because she knows you are begging to get back with her, she feels like she holds all the power now and is punishing you. As long as you beta to her, she will alpha you.
IF you want her back, just go no contact. Delete all forms of contact with her and don't contact her at all. Especially when drinking.
Do that and I promise you WITHIN a week she will be contacting you saying that you two "need to talk". And then if you really want her back you can have that.
But again, this is one of many relationships you will have in your life. Don't fret over it. Though I know you will. I did too. Took me a long time to learn how to properly deal with breakups. Learn from me.

She grew up in Abu Dhabi where they apparently drank a lot and partied with friends from like 12-16 (lol) and she says she is past that stage of her life now, but you never know. I'm sure she will be a completely different girl in a couple of years again. She is sure too.Now that you told me her age (20-21), you did the right thing.

My feelings are definitely a bit selfish. Realistically this is the right move for the both of us. She has never had time to herself, to be alone. I'm just mourning a big loss in my life. I hope we both end up happy. At the moment it kills me thinking of her having sex with another guy, dating another guy... basically just somebody other then me making her smile. But again - selfish. It's a constant battle between my ego / selfish wants and facing a hard experience for the greater good in the future.
I sure hope it's good. Sure hope I didn't lose "the one". If that is even a thing. She felt like the one for me.

You also never argue with a girlfriend or s/o.
You prolly fcked up on a bunch of other levels too but it is what it is. Learning experiences brah.

But it hurts SO BADLY. A week after I broke up with her I have so many regrets. We have so many pictures together, so many amazing memories. She was my best friend, and my support. I was hers. I fked up near the end and told her she isn't worth fighting for. Now she's moving on for real.
I have no idea what to do. This was the first girl to show me love like that. My first relationship.I feel like I have this huge void in me now. From seeing somebody almost every day, sleeping together almost every night, to not seeing them at all. To them dissappearing in your life forever.
I'm completely distraught and I don't know what to do. We were trying to stay friends but I lashed out over txt drunk last night and now she blocked me too.
Crazy to think this girl was 150% devoted to me, called me her life partner, and I've pushed her away. Feels.
Open to any advice. Really need some love and help.

I don't even think about her now at all, her face and everything else is erased from my memory completely. Life's good though brah, I'll be closing on a house soon. Can't complain and plenty more fish in the sea brah.

Women are masters, absolute masters, when it comes to shutting off emotions. They can go from calling you their king to being as cold as ice literally within a day.
Sometimes they mean it, sometimes they don't.
Men aren't like that. We are much more emo when it comes to losing a relationship. I believe it has to do with evolution and the male losing one of their females in their pride or pack. It is a real blow to the ego and to their feels.
Anyway, women as I said will stick and stick and stick with their mate for a long time, but once they decide to move on? It's over. They might as well be a robot because there is no emotion there anymore. It also helps that women for the most part find it much easier to find new dates, sex, bfs than a man does.
In this case, since this is your first real break up, I don't believe she has reached that drop dead point yet. She certainly is acting like it, but again that is just her punishing you.
I am positive if you leave her alone for a while, don't talk to her at all....and if you do? You are doing great. Life couldn't be better. You are happy and all is well with the world and you never ever ever bring up the relationship? She will be wanting to get back together very very soon.
