Just answer the question instead of deflecting.

To reiterate, some rabbis to this day still suck the a baby’s dick after circumcisions. As said earlier better hope that rabbi doesn’t have herpes.

Also how is it humane to cut off some of the penis and not use any anesthesia?

I forget, did i not say it gave less nerve endings which ended up to longer sex or am i imaging i said that?

and to say proper sanitation is once again non-nonsensical as most of the world does not live in sanitary environment so by simplifying and streamlining anything to protect the general public is beneficial

But if you look at understand the map you can see the North Africa STD and HIV rates are much lower and closer to NA while the south who does not circumcise has the HIV problems. Can you not understand the data you presented and/or the correlation between those two?

But how is this an argument for the developed world, like USA, with sanitation facilities to be circumcised at birth?

I imagine if you don't bath, or shower, or clean yourself, then maybe being circumcised is better... but we're talking about the developed world here.

If you look and 'understand the map' you'll also note Europe has very low HIV rates, yet most of us are uncut.

Correlation =/= causation.

Comparing it to FGM is a little extreme, but circumcision should be the choice of a rational, free thinking adult.

Ugh, cant believe i'm agreeing with the trailerlord OP. Disgusting.

That feel when North Americans are forcefully circumcised at birth only because of outdated religious traditions. That feel when people think God still needs our foreskins in 2018.

it lowers penor cancer and urinary infections which has nothing to do with sanitation/cleanliness

Well considering treatment and testing is free in those countries (Europe) it would be more likely people use the services while in developing worlds they do not have the same access to medical experts, programs, or education.

"Despite testing and treatment being free and universally available in the UK, around 10,400 people were unaware of their status, equivalent to 12% of the total number of people living with HIV, However the proportion of people unaware of their status has halved since 2014."https://www.avert.org/professionals/hiv-around-world/western-central-europe-north-america/uk

So you have no way to answer my question in a direct manner without mental gymnastics?

If you know a topic well enough you should be able to simplify it. Clearly you can’t do that.

This still doesn't refute why a developed country like USA circumcises children at birth...

As i stated earlier, maybe it's of benefit in very poor/less developed countries, but that's not what we're talking about here.

The 'benefits' of circumcision all come down to the fact the penis head is freely accessible so can't build up as much dirt/grime/bacteria etc. This is negated by keeping yourself clean and ensuring pull your foreskin back, and clean your penis properly.

There's no reason for the USA to circumcise individuals without their consent.

More uneducated idiots ITT.

Brb peer reviewed studies demonstrating reduced risk of hiv contraction, penile cancer and urinary tract infections.

Brb no evidence of reduced sensitivity despite this myth always being perpetrated.

"This study confirms the importance of the foreskin for penile sensitivity, overall sexual satisfaction, and penile functioning. Furthermore, this study shows that a higher percentage of circumcised men experience discomfort or pain and unusual sensations as compared with the uncircumcised population. Before circumcision without medical indication, adult men, and parents considering circumcision of their sons, should be informed of the importance of the foreskin in male sexuality."

why did you ignore the urinary tract, HIV/STD, and cancer? because is not sanitation. just trying to make some sort of straw man argument? and do you not see how todays youth are raised, most households in poor neighbourhoods are single mothers who do not have the father figure to show them and teach them this. Srs, if people did what was always expected we'd have a lot less heart disease, cancers, liver failures and etc but that is not the case.

That's not a comparable topic though, a vaccination is not leaving an individual with a part of their body irreversibly damaged.

Pretty sure i've addressed it about 5 times, if you choose not to read it that's your choice.

I've never stated there's no benefit, what i've stated is the benefit is negligible. What's more important than a potential benefit, is its actual efficacy and studies have shown it's a tiny amount. I live in Europe, where nobody is circumcised, and i don't know a single male with urinary tract infection or urinary tract cancer, and never have.

.. So?

I see, my studies don't count because they disagree with you. Are you implying that's not a large enough sample size or what?

I wont waste my time further; you're all entitled to your opinion and clearly nobody will change their view, but my personal stance is that this is a decision for an adult to make, not a child.

LOL, 'I do not know anyone that is has happened to, therefore, it must not happen' you are an idiot LMFAO

Funny how Europe countries (UK especially as it is #1) has the highest penile cancer but also low circumcision:https://www.scielosp.org/article/rpsp/2017.v41/e117/
