Even barring all those little details, I'm lol'ing at the fact manletbrah would break someone's property, save a baby, and just bounce out.

The first thing on my mind while leaving would be if I'm gonna get chit for breaking the window. Rather give my side of the story.

If youre cars parked in front of fire hydrant, the fire fighter will break youre window to get to it and leave you a big fk you ticket. Also, leaving the baby with a crowd of witnesses is better than leaving the baby alone. Also, your a dumbass.

The parent should be fined for child neglect. Op is a hero.

OP is not a firefighter you moron. He's a dope who didn't even bother telling security about the baby. Would have cleared up the whole situation in 5 mins. What is someone had taken the baby? Or stolen the car?

This. There is no way one out of the 7-10 people would not have called 911 or contacted store security immediately given that situation.

OP is in England, but if he had just dialed 999 they would have deployed 10 baton-wielding police kuntstables ready to rescue the child.

Grocery stores have security. Hell, even if for some reason they didn't, just tell a clerk and they can still send out a message. Far better than breaking a windows and leaving the baby with strangers.

Most places don't. Even most banks don't have security. Also what good is telling the cashier going to do? If the parents are dumb enough to leave the baby in the car for 30mins, they should get a fine.

OP was in Tesco, the UK's biggest Supermarket chain with security, customer services etc.

Any rational person would have told security who would have then summoned the car owners by announcing the registration over the tannoy.

That''s what would have happened, if this actually happened.
