One of my favorite philosopher Heidegger was a Nazi. Many of his ideas were used in psychotherapy. He was kinda forgiven for being a Nazi, but many of his ideas led to viewing religious people as kind of like robots, and not real life people. That's because they're taught to believe, and do believe, prepackaged nonsense, and live a programmed life.
