We don't know what you are upgrading from or if you are trading in your current home defense weapon.

The answer is both idiot op.
Step 1, live in the boonies (where freedom still exists)
Step 2, place an ar-15 in every room
Step 3, decorate with tastefully hidden pistols, shotguns, and AOE damage equipment if necessary.

If this is your first firearm then shotgun hands down. Way more versatile, can shoot many different projectiles, more fun for target practice and better for home defense.

Edit: Get something compact ^^^
Id go with the shotgun in this case for home defense, coming from a proud owner of a Springfield Range Officer 1911.
My next purchase will be a CZ Scorpion or an AR pistol. I want something super versatile - kinda leaning towards the CZ as I'd be worried about over penetration with a 5.56 AR pistol (was looking at the Springfield Saint). Anyone have any input on this?
Sig MPX would he a nice choice but I wish they weren't so pricey =/

Perhaps that's what you deserve for never lighting your hair on fire?

Both are suboptimal for HD
Get a glock 19/17 or an AR platform
Then go light ur hair on fire

Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.
