Even basic grappling skills would have stopped that

Not true
There’s plenty of videos of people taking out multiple assailants
Grappling skill would allow him to stay standing or get back up
That gives him the freedom to throw hands and knock them out
These bum always look for an easy target and when they get resistance they usually run away

I personally know a guy that was attacked by three street kids
One grabbed him and fell into his guard and he threw a triangle on the dude
Friends tried to pull him out of it
Dude was out in a few seconds
Guy I know started fighting then and they ran off leaving their knocked out friend

Anyway I’m not going to argue with someone who doesn’t train

If one person steps up, most likely others will step up. You pull the guy off of him and try to calm him down. If he starts throwing then **** happens and you're more of a man then everybody who pussied out.

When the black dude actually stepped in to do something is when other people should have backed him up. People always talk about the bystander effect, well he was the first to break it but nobody stood up after. I don't blame the guy, he tried to do it without getting physical, and it's not like he was a pussy either he talked **** back to the guy at the end, but nobody backed him up and there was no way he's getting him off without getting into a scrap himself. Which personally I wouldn't feel too comfortable with considering the guy just bashed this dude's head into the cement and nobody did sh!t.
