Will neg from now on anyone saying they will swerve to hit riders, real classy.
Oh and traffic is a car problem not a motorcycle problem so let us go to the front of the line.

Just as I thought.
There were most likely tractor trailers passing you on the right.
And I think many more people flipped you off, but you were so zoned out, you only saw the biker flip you off ( kinda hard to miss it as opposed if someone flips you off from inside a car ).
Not going to neg, hopefully this can be a learning experience for you.
The guy was not the nicest guy for flipping you off, but neither were you for inconveniencing not only him, but everyone else.

I've met some cyclers like this but NEVER once a motorcyle. Even though I and others have I have rode with do dangerous things, we never once felt or "Acted" entitled. Always shared roads since a 3,000 lb vehicle wins all day. During rides people are designated to be road guards and watch and regulate the pack and to ensure cars and traffic are flowing fine.

from the youtube videos i watch and the ones with the gopros yes, they are douchey. overly sensitive and looking to fight a car that offended them. they smash their mirrors and haul ass away like a bitch. most of the time the rider is at fault. some car drivers are oblivious though

Yes.
60% are old fat bald dudes trying to be alpha
40% are young show-offs who think they're invincible.
100% have daddy / insecurity / confidence issues. There is literally no reason to own or operate a motorcycle - you have to go out of your way to be a dumbass retard.
I love pulling into the left lane to pass, knowing that a motoryclist is coming up quickly in that same lane, and that they'll have to swerve or brake to not hit my car. Supid fuks going 100+ mph lol.

If someone wants to ride a motocycle on the road with these idiot drivers, all the more power to them, but get real. You know the risks and took them, don't cry about it.
Stop crying about how people don't watch out for you. They don't watch out for anyone. I watch out for everyone, but I don't give bikes any special consideration. If you can't handle it, sell your bike and buy a Volvo.
Don't reprimand others about their violations of traffic laws while thinking you are exempt of them. Videos on youtube where bikers violate multiple traffic laws and drive recklessly in order to confront someone about their driving habbits. Classic signs of narcissistic behavior.
Friend of mine's daughter was hit by a motorcycle in her own neighborhood by a guy that was testing his bike out. His first worlds after hitting her was "why didn't she hear me coming" and how he got loud pipes for exactly that reason. Yeah, everyone should watch out for you *******. Also he seemed to believe it was different that he was on a bike rather than a car. No insurance, tag, registration, but because it's a bike, in a neighborhood, that's different. His FB was always filled with memes about how people should watch out for bikers. Well, his house was almost paid off.... but the lawsuit they have on him might change all that. Didn't kill her, but broke her arm and a couple ribs on a 9 year old girl.

I just love it how they cry on social media that us car drivers should notice them but they always give a chit about traffic lines and suddenly appear at your rear when you are about to turn. One day I almost catapulted one 100 meters high who tried doing that.

Srs reply is srs now
I ride two main bikes during the spring summer and fall.
My SV1000 and my Goldwing.
I rarely go more than 5 over the speed limit, I don't swerve in and out of traffic, I have only flipped a cager off twice in 16 years of riding.
I've been in one wreck from a lady on her phone in an SUV that changed lanes from left to right suddenly without signal, this forced me to grab too much front brake and I hit the pavement low side and slid over 120 ft.
I've been run onto the shoulder by people, I've been cut off, I've had people tailgate me.
I am a cager 6 months out of the year. When we ask you to watch out for bikes we are simply asking you to not be on your phone and turn your head when making a lane change.
There is no such thing as a blind spot if you turn your head.

only reason I don't have a bike is because of how stupid other people are on the roads, especially with everyone glued to their phones now.

Since you know you're harder to see, maybe YOU should be more vigilant.
