Transferring two guns to myself right now and NICS actually came back with a proceed instead of a delay. Only happens about 10% of the time

As somebody who bought a house just over a year ago, I will say, my theoretical favorite basement would be one that was finished but not. HVAC, plumbing for at least a half bath, electrical, cheap basic flooring (that crappy thin basement carpet, wood-look laminate, whatever), properly done drywall over the exterior walls, nothing else...not even extra walls pre-defining walls or spaces. Because nobody else is going to do it exactly how you want to do it and stuff done reasonable and within code etc for electrical and plumbing and HVAC is a a huge deal.

Ceilings and paint and walls and doors, who needs 'em

the first time my parents were interviewed for mine, the investigator was blown away when they offered him something to drink and a snack. the guy said most of the time people try and avoid him as much as possible.

i prefer having to renew every 5 years instead of 10, a lot easier to keep track of things.

Surefire customer support on point. First time I've ever needed them, but glad they're legit.
Dropped my brand new X300 onto concrete floor here in the shop and a tiny piece of the aluminum rail guide chipped off. Doesn't effect function at all but bothers me on a brand new light. So I emailed like 2 hours ago asking if I could buy a replacement rail guide. Got response already that one's going to ship out to me today for no charge.

Maybe they decided to stop sucking? lol took them weeks to send my faulty XC1 back seemingly without touching it and certainly without fixing the problem, took a day or two to hear back on every communication, and like a week or more to ship a replacement after the first one was sent back still not working.

Anybody in to Supercross? First race is tonight. But you can only watch it if you have NBC Sports gold which is 75 bucks for the season. I haven’t bought it out of principle. I pay for satellite and have NBC Sports but then I need to pay more money to watch something? Pisses me off.
