Happy Monday boyos!! SOTD:
I've been sitting on this one for a while, mostly because I didn't know what to make of it. I'd take it out of the drawer every so often and play around with it, only to promptly put it back. I kept thinking there was something special about it, but I couldn't pinpoint it. I finally started really spending some time with it last week, and now I'm starting to get it.
Thisis what The House of Creed truly represents. This is rarefied air, worthy of a spot on the Mt. Rushmore of Creed, alongside other greats such as Silver Mountain Water, Green Irish Tweed, and Millesime Imperial.

I flew to Detroit for a Capitals game, while I was there, I noticed there was a Versace boutique in Troy. Drove over and snagged a bottle of Eros Flame since I can’t get it online or in Raleigh. Safe purchase and priced similarly to the original Eros. Smelled it in the store, but haven’t opened my bottle yet.

I really recommend Bleue D'issey Eau fraiche to you guys. Unbelieveable unique and sophisticated for summer time. I live in a tropical climate so its suitable. Fantastic fragrance

Prospecting the something new with the whole gig on coffee and olfactory fatigue.
They say that the coffee rejuvenates your olfactory, and that's why they have it at the counters. But one thing I've noticed, is that it doesn't seem to work once you've run the gauntlet on a bunch of different fragrances. At least, it's never worked for me this way. The fatigue heavily lingers. So what I've come to prospect, is that the way the coffee works has something to do with the molecules you take in from it. Particularly, I'm theorizing that the coffee must contain some really big chemicals in it, like ISO-E Super. So what happens is—the large molecules trigger the G-Protein to open up ion channels—so that the molecule can be processed. This in turn, "elevates the sensory" with the additional ion channels open. However, when all the receptors are jammed, the molecule can't even get in place to trigger the G-Protein, so there's no effect from it.
Considering this, I'm thinking that there's a trick to using the coffee for this benefit, and that trick involves smelling the coffee immediately after you smell a fragrance. This way, there are receptors open, which can enable the molecules to work their magic. If you go let the fragrance department run a big ass train on you though, it's not going to do anything for you.
Someone try this next time you're there and let me know. Probably best to take your own coffee beans with you as well, to ensure that they're fresh.

Blind Valentino Uomo test
#1 Kind of an aromatic generic, but a little “fresher”. I’m assuming this is Valentino Uomo Sport. Not very cloying or offensive. Its a safe office/clean scent similar to Prada L’homme. Nice but boring
#2 A bit more synthetic in the opening, prob just the amount I sprayed on the paper. Could be formal wear as well as date night or going out to bars. It reminds me of spicebomb without the floral element
#3 Not overly spicy but “dark”. I’m guessing this is the OG VU because it seems a bit flat. As in there doesn’t seem to be any particular special note to make it a flanker of any sort but it’s not fresh to be a “sport”. Nice leather jacket or suit & tie frag. But just a tad boring.
#4 Smells like there’s more going on in this one. Somewhat similar to the 3rd but a bit nutty. I’m assuming this one is VU Intense. Would appeal to spice bomb lovers who want a break from spicebomb but think SB Extreme sucks. This is spicy but a nice aromatic quality to it. More interesting than 3 but not AS gourmandy and unique as #2.
Now to check the labels.

Did BR540 today, after about 2 hours I stopped smelling it much. Just the faintest whiff here and there. I'm currently in the gym and once in a while I get faint gorgeous whiffs from since 8 this morning. They're so faint yet my friends can easily smell it off me. The noseblind is STRONG with this frag.

2. Give it time. It's a pretty complicated scent. Also, you probably needn't worry about negs, as most of the knuckle-draggers around here don't "get" it.
