However, I think you're missing the point. If she's literally offering nothing other than "companionship" - then a man who also wants "companionship" can get that same company from a younger tighter body. I’m not missing the point.

A decent looking woman of any age will still have more options than all but the top percentage of men, because that’s how supply and demand works.

This notion that men will have unlimited options as they age and bald is horse chit. Unless we’re talking about paying for sex, which is essentially what you’re doing when you flash your credit card around at young girls.

And for what it’s worth, I have no interest in men in their 30’s and neither do my friends and we’re all 25 or younger. And I have a pretty wide friend group.

SS would be totally fine if she were more interested in dudes closer to her age. The average single dude in his 40’s is no prize.

My real point is that misc underestimates the options of older women and vastly over estimates the options of older men.

If she would date a dude her own age she would very likely not have to settle as much as you think.
