Not doing Whole 30 or anything like that but being a lot more strict calorie wise (read: snacks, especially at the office).
Good luck brahs.

I think my thighs are gonna be in good shape this summer. I wish I could say the same for my calves.

Maybe one day they won't suck.

do you contract the calves at the top of the movement and create blood flow? can't imagine how people cant contract their calves or build them.. have had issues with them for awhile getting too pumped

My pecs are my biggest weakness I'd say. Not trying to cope by saying "gyno" but yeah. We will see if it persists in lower body fat ranges.
Again good luck brahs.

Also random leg pic from like 2 or 3 weeks ago dont think I've ever posted any in a decade. Quads are pretty solid atm still working on hamstrings and calves pretty hard. Hopefully more separation will start to come in soon.

If you're doing seated ones you will not be engaging the calf muscle, gastrocnemius.
Seated calf raises and any calf raises takes the tension off gastrocnemius and hits the soleus.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

Last year I made it! It's crazy when I look at myself a year ago till now, it's still not set in fully.
This year the goal is to keep and improve!

Do you train your calves as you do other muscles?

my calves didn't respond to high frequency or heavy weight, i had tried every variation of heavy weight and high frequency chit you could imagine. it wasn't until i followed a bodyweight thing a guy on another forum swore by that I started growing. So on my leg days I'll do 4x failure bw calf raises on flat ground (slow and controlled 2 seconds up 2 seconds down squeezing as hard as you can at the top) with my arms leaning on something (so hips out behind you), then a static hold 4x failure for each leg. then standing straight the same thing. It sounds like a lot but you can rip through it in 20min max, and when you first try it you're going to be embarrassingly weak at it, i thought i had strong calves and remember struggling to get 5 solid reps after the first set
