We're talking about SS who I assume is in a similar socio economic class as myself, which means the dad will probably be too, and they will have the financial means and the intellectual capacity to raise the child with love and happiness.

"A kid getting a sense s/he isn't wanted" might happen if the child wasn't planned, and the parents don't have the financial means to take care of it, therefore the child becomes an unwanted burden. That's not the scenerio here. I'm taking about a planned pregnancy, with two responsible parents.

Ok fair enough. Thought you were aiming for 30's-early 40's w/o kids. And from what I understand women in their 40's have the same success rate using egg donors as women in younger age groups and with less complications that could arise using their own eggs. Just something to think about in the event say you do meet a guy you like in his 40's w/o kids but wants them...or a guy with kids that wants a second round. In other words its possible and by keeping an open mind you won't get nexted if that's a deal breaker for them.

So then we go back to my 1st post itt lol. Assuming you are dating older guys who don't want any/more kids and are looking for women in your age bracket to date/have a relationship with....then wtf is wrong?

Did you gain 40lbs since the last time I saw your pics?

Or are you just so boring/awkward irl that they would rather go with a less attractive option that is easier to vibe with? I've done that.

Do you think SS has a better or worse chance at getting into a serious relationship with a man...if she does not want to reproduce?



I'm not trying to solve the worlds problems nor am I giving advice to anybody else itt but SS. She doesn't come across as the type to drop a newborn in a dumpster so your last points here are not relevant to the topic at hand.

Who cares as long as they're happy.

If she's 44 then she'll still have eggs that have a higher chance of Down's syndrome. Freezing them is extremely expensive and if she doesn't want children, then why have them? Children are amazing, yet they literally take over all of your life for 13 years, then you start to get some freedom when they're teens. It's such a big commitment that I wouldn't want someone to do it half-assed, as many people outside of California do.

Not sure if srs or joking. Someone who is 25 can be done school and in a professional career and supporting themselves... Putting an age on maturity and wisdom is one of the most ignorant things that you can do srs, and 25 isn't the mark you're looking for if you want to blindly label a person being in a completely different life phase.

If they were still in high school, college, or living with parents that would be the correct blind label.

I have a 22 year old female friend and she is intelligent but her fund of knowledge is that of a 22 year old. So, all the things I enjoy doing, I have a vast sum of knowledge about compared to her. In addition, my emotional development and world view is that of a person with a huge amount of life experience. This girl actually offered to have a baby with me, which I would love. But, I'm sticking with my much older gf, because we have great communication and value relationships because we both know how horrible life can be.

You need to separate yourself from that young chick if you're not interested in her. You say you view her as like a daughter, but her kid calls you dad and she's offering to have a baby with you. Messy situation.
