Well I’ve been single for a long time and I really want a relationship. So I’m lonely and can relate to the FA stuff on here.

But I was married for a long time, and had boyfriends before that, and have a semi fwb now. So not FA in the true sense, just semi FA I guess.

Except as to cooking, well yes I understand that in the context of a relationship that is bad for guys who want a woman to cook for them. But I’m single and live alone so have no reason to cook if I don’t enjoy it. And like I said in the cooking thread, I'm willing to compromise on that in a relationship and cook if it’s really important to the guy.

Well I am awkward but can hold a conversation just fine when I put in the effort. In social situations I ask questions and respond with empathy and encouragement and I’m a good listener. Never brag and I don’t talk about myself much and never put down other people or try to be superior to them. Don’t try to call attention to myself, am soft spoken and not loud.

In social situations people generally love talking to me because I’m a good listener, and then people try to be my friend but I keep my distance because I don’t want any more friends.

Yes I love just spending time with someone without having to hold a conversation. If I were a guy and had guy friends I would probably enjoy friendships much more than now. Because male friendships are generally based on just hanging out together or going places together.

Whereas female friendships are generally based on conversations and socializing. So the male friendship dynamic is a much better fit for my personality.
