Did a 50 mile ride yesterday morning after we got a foot of fresh snow. Got first tracks on the trails. About half had been groomed, others were untouched powder. In one area the wind had blown all the snow off the open fields and into the woods. Snow was so deep it was coming up over the front of the sled, over the windshield and into my chest.

Took my wife out on the trails for the first time this morning on her sled (my old one) for a 10 mile loop. brother in law is on his way over and we are going to get a ride in this afternoon.

Its -14F with the wind chill currently.

I generally would agree, but the EMP was build from scratch to be 9mm. It's not just a shrunken platform that already existed.

Also...

My EDC is a p238, which is basically a very miniature 1911. No issues ever. Best shooting gun I own.

Finna get a new phone as I am due for an upgrade.

Wot get? I don't keep up with new phones at all. Would keep my current iPhone 7 but screen has cracks and recently the on/off button on the side has randomly started not responding sporadically

Unless you want something different in particular, pick Samsung or Apple and get the newest one in whatever size suits you.

Get the Xr. I have the Xs and I feel stupid, because I actually like my wife's Xr just as much for like 70% of the price. And the size is actually better. The OLED is nice, but unless you're outside with the phone all day and need the brightness, meh.

I'm not dead set, but I like the gun. Debating if I should just get a Shield for $400 for a carry 9mm or go fancy. What do you mean sell us out though? Im unaware.

Some years ago we went to Naples/Marco for the new year. It was 38* the night we arrived. Absolute apocalypse, those south FL folks were completely beside themselves...wearing coats on the beach whining about how they were still cold two days later when it was 75* and sunny. One guy told us his sister got married recently in St Louis in the winter and he wouldn't go to the wedding because it was going to be below freezing there

But not as bad as when it was about 74*F and a little windy in Hawaii and the high school kid working the helicopter place said it was the coldest he had ever been and he needed a warmer jacket. Like...WTFman

I wonder, do native southern floriders (word?) or HI residents ever become SEALs? Because lol

Floridians I think would be the word there.

I visited my family in Florida a few years back and my cousins were wearing jeans and light hoodies. Like bruh it’s 80° you’re making me sweat just looking at you.

Springfield and RRA were kinda in bed with some anti-gunners, i don't remember the specifics

buy a Shield, a holster, an Apex trigger, and 1k of ammo for the $900 you'd spend on that EMP

I googled them. Well chit. I mean, I'll always be a Sig guy first, but I'm not paying $1k for an off roster 365.

If I go Shield, I'll be using the extra cash to get a Remington 12g for my home defense setup.
