His wife and young daughter were behind him, likely they were leaving the mall and the youths were fighting outside so he broke it up so as to not be in a situation where the daughter/wife get hurt walking through them and then the girl who got clocked pushed him in the back (in another video), continued to provoke, got pushed back, came back with fists and got knocked tfo.

Some girls are fully grown at 12 so how would he know age, and the main question is why is a 5'6 girl attacking a 6'5, 250lb guy? Dude wasn't the aggressor so why attack him.

I get very nervous when surrounded by a mob of people yelling at me, even if they're 'only' teenagers. I agree it's not good to brutally KO children but honestly I could see myself doing the same thing in that situation.

Seriously I can't blame the guy, it's literally a mob of wild teens screaming/running around. You have no idea if they have weapons, sticks, knifes etc. And if they push or get into your space your natural instincts for protection take over.

simple, don’t put yourself in that situation, walk away. Not push some girl to assert dominance and then knock out hormonal teenager when she comes back at you. Her age is irrelevant to be honest. When someone charges at you, you don't stop them and say "WAIT!!! HOW OLD ARE YOU FIRST BEFORE WE FIGHT? GOTTA BE OVER 18 TO FIGHT ME BOYO"

Dude got pushed and then pushed back and the girl wanted to scrap and got a huge reality check that she will never forget.

He's only facing three misdemeanors which I highly doubt he will serve any jail time with no previous record and the fact that he was defending himself.

She should have realized she was in way over her head when he was able to push her back 10 ft like it was nothing.
