Right, but:

- way fewer people own the higher end line of scopes
- the higher end scopes take much more abuse which means they aren't breaking as often
- so again, it's worth extending the warranty to those optics for the bragging point

Edit: I'm really just bored this morning and have nothing better to do than argue about these points, but I think they're valid. lol
At the end of the day I wouldn't hold a company responsible for my negligence, period. If they repair/replace free, great. If not, it was my screw up from the get go.

Coyote is the only thing we can use a high powered rifle for. For long range stuff, I prefer a bipod and laying prone. Deer hunting is a non issue because it's mainly 100-200 yards with shotgun.

Or do you mean binoculars on a tripod? In that case, also a no, because reasons stated above. Spotting scope is the only thing on a tripod.

idk we always glass with a tripod and were looking 500-3000 yards away. then we get closer for a shot. if thats how you do it in iowa you should get a tripod for your vortexs. if youre just looking close you probably dont need the clearest and brightest edge to edge clarity binos

well, my dad bought a P365. had me run the first mag through it yesterday. trigger feels like trash dry firing it, but you don't notice it at all when firing. thing shoots like a laser gun

I wanted to hate it...but now I seriously want one. anybody need a lightly modded 43?

I've been hating the 365 for a while now with all of the issues being reported. It's almost a year since release and things are starting to look better for the 365. I shot someones at the range and the itch came back. I think I'll hold onto the 43 for a few more years and see what happens to the price of the 365 before I take the plunge. G48 and CM33 is next on the list.

I broke down my SP2022 to clean it for the first time yesterday.

When you have the slide off the frame, it really hits you how lightweight these composite guns are. Makes me feel a bit nervous, actually. Feels like I'm trusting my life to 8oz of plastic.

Know how I know you haven't been to Indiana

Much of Iowa has a lot more rolling hills, they aren't big and the changes are not much, and even out more or less, but it's kind of (rolling) hilly. Go drive through Indiana. It's a pool table.

I'll note my experience is almost all at or east of Des Moines

I never thought of a stat like elevation span of a state before. But I looked it up and got 1,190 for Iowa from this source.

And 937 for Indiana lol
