I just have to say that I love this thread and all the adorable pets that everyone posts! It makes me so happy when I open it and see more cuteness posted. A great big thanks to all of you that keep it going! <3

I went to the rescue this morning and walked 4 of the small doggos. Wasn't really good cardio today as they were all skittish and one was blind. She was this adorable little fur ball. I hadn't been for a few weeks so it felt good to be there and know I'm helping even a little.

This is the first little guy I walked today. Very cute but scared and did not know how to walk on a leash. Was cracking me up.

[QUOTE=Legz422 post_id=1571539141]OMG! lmao I love how he puts his head under the couch! Whenever I run with my pupper he looks so confused as he's running. The second I start to jog he goes 100%.

lol My pupper just trots along and even though I'm a horrible runner I am usually a little ahead of him and he's looking over like what's happening?! Makes me laugh so hard I have to stop running cause can't breathe. I'll have to try to make a gif of it. lol

Just adopted this Shepherd/Rottweiler rescue. She has a very traumatic tale... she was involved in a cheating story that ended in homicide. Chained up in an exposed garage for 3 years with her brother, police raided their place and all that fun ****. Abused, malnourished, caged her entire life... just seeing trees, people and nature in general was all new to her today. Going to be a long recovery but happy to give this wonderful girl a new home! Going to show her the dedication, love, and compassion she's never had the fortune to experience before.

new puppers. breeder sent us these pics last night. he's a pretty big boy for 5 weeks old. we still have 2-3 weeks before he can come home

old lady playing with wifey. she is 10 years old (not the wife) and we decided we wanted her and the new puppy to share some time together so we went ahead and got our next dog. new puppy can hopefully keep old girl around longer and we would also like new puppy to have her as a role model as she is a perfect dog.

Puppies can follow the elder dogs lead and learn from them. They get the housebreaking and commands down faster when they see an older dog do it.

The puppy is going to be one big big boy one day. He's very handsome.

Thanks! His dad is pretty huge. And not one of those giant Americanized GSDs, just a really big western german GSD.

That is exactly what we thought on behavior and also take a cue on how to behave around our cats as Annabelle (old girl) is great around the cats.

Once she passes we will probably add a second puppy because we want to have 2 dogs from here on out. Wife works at home and there is nothing like a couple of intimidating GSDs for safety and comfort. We considered adopting 2 from this litter but our vet (who is a very close friend also) said with 2 puppies you basically have to walk, train, crate, socialize them separately or you are in danger of the submissive dog bonding with the dominant dog instead of the owner. And with a strong natured breed like a GSD you don't want to take that risk and end up with a dog with temperament problems.

They are each other's everything. I know I matter to them, they respect me as alpha dog but they'd be lost without each other. I dread the day Lily who is much older than him, when she goes and he may not know what to do with himself!
