TBH besides the obvious stuff like invest and donate to charity and pay off debt and chit, I really have no idea what i'd do with my life with that much money. Its like playing a game with cheat codes, After a while, life just wouldn't be fun or interesting anymore. You can go through your bucket list several times over with unlimited free time and money. Its probably why celebrities OD on drugs because they have and done everything they ever wanted to do in the physical world so they try to escape to their mind.

Invest 500 million in ventures that will secure my financial future. Take the remaining 500 million and hire an army. Invade some African country, kill everyone in power. Set up a dictatorship. Create an alliance/trade deal with China (They are going to own everything worth having in Africa eventually). And build an empire with myself and my descendants as kings.

I'm not saying I wouldn't take the money, i'm just saying that its something I never really thought about. Once you get all of your affairs in order and you're sitting alone in your massive house or relaxing on a beach somewhere, what do you do? Gather a bunch of slooty models throw them on a yacht and have an orgy? Okay, the next morning what do you do? go to some $500/plate restaurant for every single meal? travel the world? Drive a 720s series McLauren on the Autobahn? You can accomplish all that chit multiple times over in, like, 2 years. Then what? If you're in your 20's to early 30's you still have a good 55 years left of life to live. You will have already done what would take a lifetime for the average joe to accomplish.

The only thing I can truly think of is investing so I have a passive income to live off of and just do a bunch of random acts of kindness anonymously. Donate a couple of million here and there to random charities, pay off someones debt etc.

Get every family member I like and my friends out of debt and on sound financial footing. Buy several local businesses and my grandfathers ranch. I figure I should be able to do all that for about $50,000,000, I’d keep $10,000,000 for myself and give the rest away. Dead serious, I have no desire to have that much money. I want comfort in life, not super luxury.

Really take care of everyone I know and their family, and ensure their children have the best upbringing too. Once everyone's worries are outta the way, then we can have fun.

Realistically, I'd probably open up an animal sanctuary and be on Twitch, and hopefully someone watching likes what they see and wants to adopt a new friend. Would just hire a bunch of vets and vet techs to run it. Might even open up a vet practice too.

Other than that you can just do the same things you enjoy now, just upgraded obviously. You don’t have to live a degenerate life with hookers/drugs/alcohol. You can just do healthy things, travel, see the world, and if you get bored work on some project or business that you enjoy.
I have a billion dollars and a good chunk of it is being invested so that I can live off of the interest. Who cares about starting a business and making more money. you can't take it with you when you die, Its like playing Skyrim and after having beaten the game you continue to fill your house up with valuables only good for selling.

Giant dog sanctuary. Be streams, lakes, all super secure and fenced in but we are talking maybe thousand acres or more. Hundreds and hundreds of full time staff(vets, groomers, ect) on site at all times. Well paid of course. Pay off mortgage and mom's mortgage and medical bills. Then hang out with doggos and my wife and son all day. Just take care of puppers srs. One crazy thing I'd like to do is hire Gordon Ramsay to come cook for like a week. That would be awesome. Oh and pay to have my 86 custom deluxe redone.
I know who I am. And after all these years, there’s a victory in that.

Pretty much this. And with this much money, I'd fly private everywhere.

I understand this.. you’d have to still set goals for yourself and find things that would fulfill your life.. I don’t know what I’d do without financial stress lol.

Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.
