I'm a little delayed, but after talking about a new CZ and waiting the MD 7 days, I picked up my CZ75 Tactical Sport and got it out to the range.

I have shots out to 20 yards, but I'm pulling left so I need to correct.

The Arlo Ultra cameras have been out for over a week now, and the reviews are in: complete fail. Besides the cameras themselves not working like they should, Arlo is upcharging for expensive subscription plans, and overcharging for lower quality accessories that are necessary but not included any more, like $50 charging cords and $20 magnetic mounts. Also connection problems, low quality video, slow or no motion detection, batteries won't hold charge, promised features are nonexistent, etc.

Apparently Arlo took a page from the SIG playbook and released a product for beta testing by its customers.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/reviews...system/6311609

Netgear is a scumbag company that craps all over its customers. I was hopeful that Arlo would be a better independent company after it got spun off from Netgear. As their first big product launch, it looks like Arlo is even worse now.

So, on Friday, I will have a full day to walk around and check out booths. If you want to know anything about a product, I can take pictures, give you thoughts, etc. I won't have time to curate MFC, so just send me a PM. If you want a comparison, let me know what you would like it compared to.

FYI, I haven't heard of anything too wild.

Right. Plus magazine disconnect safeties. Only way to be truly safe. Little sketchy only having a trigger safety, drop safety, and grip safety.

Pulling left with that trigger? Doubt it. May just have to drift the rear sight a tad to the right.

The small circles to the left have some pretty tight grouping that I straightened up. And Im pretty sure some of those holes low are from my friend that was hitting my damn target. We shared the 6 circle so the other targets in frame aren't mine. I'm pulling high left and I kept trying to correct so shots are not as tight as I'd like. I need to get out more since I've neglected my handguns for a while. I just found out there is a pistol club right up the street from me that I am going to join and get some more range time in. Outside of that I have no range closer than an 1.25 hours away. I am adding the fiber front site to this gun which I think will be a good part of my improvement.

Thanks for the info. Someone else mentioned this to me as well. I thought I was solid on my shots and the gun returned to the same resting point after each shot and I was trained on center every time. I'm going to go out again with it and if I keep drifting left I'll have the rear site adjusted..

Yup. Not a fan of those holders. The pin is right in the center that locks them. Can't utilize part of the target.

'Mirin. I always have this notion that I should buy a bunch of steel targets so I can go out and shoot in the desert, but in reality I use a couple indoor ranges by my house way more than I make it out to shoot in the west desert. Money probably better spent on range fees and ammo.

I picked up another Gen 4 G19 yesterday. Wanting to upgrade my daily carry gun from my LC9S to this. Already have an IWB kydex holster on the way, and just ordered a new Gunner Belt from Hank's Belts to replace my old worn out belt. What is everyone using for sights on their primary defensive hand guns? This thing came with the Wilson Combat Vicker's Tactical sights, but I am not so sure I like them.

before I switched to an RMR on my 19, I had Dawson Precision fiber optic and loved them. I may end up kilt in the skreets, but I prefer weapon light and FO sights over tritium because I'm not shooting something i can't ID

I think it's pretty hilarious that so many people advocate night sights are the only thing appropriate for a defense gun. More and more very well known instructors who have "been there and done it" are saying black rear/fiber optic front is perfectly suitable for a defense gun and use that combo on their EDC's.

Black rear with fiber optic front goes on every single pistol I own that doesn't have an optic on it.

Yea guys like Steve Fisher are big on fiber optics. Kyle Defoor recommends all black sights even.

Fiber optics definitely are the best option IMO. Plus you can get a thinner front sight with those and actually be accurate. Thinnest front you can get with tritium is .125 I believe.

They can fargue all they want. Night sights have been around for what, 20 years? 30? People were defending themselves at night long before they came around.
