For sure

Sitting at 200lbs at 6'1, lean bulking to ~210 before I recomp, assess where I'm at andmaybecut. Ive usually recomped with good success but it gets harder after every bulk.

Down to 155lbs now and probably about 11-12%. I swear to God in the last 5lbs that I've lost there has been SO much change in my stomach/love handles/serratus. Feeling really optimistic/excited for seeing how I look at 147-149lbs - which I think will be my end goal at around 8% .

Once I hit goal weight, I'm going to reverse diet back up very slowly and then do an incredibly lean bulk. Something like 8-12 weeks bulk, with 2 weeks mini cuts thrown in to keep fat gain minimal.

Does anyone have a good idea about how much you should be looking to gain (lbs) per week on a lean bulk? (I dont care about being natty, which will obviously make a difference).

I was thinking like 1lbs per week seems reasonable to gain without too much fat?

edit: will post pics on here once I get sub 150lbs. If anyone has any pics of guys who are sub 150lbs and single digit bodyfat, Id love to see !

0.5lb per week is a good lean bulk. Maybe even a little less.

Okay, we need to see pictures for evaluation because a lot guys around here underestimate bf% and 150 lbs is way too light to be cutting any longer. If I showed you pictures of guys around 150 lbs @ 8-10% bf., more than likely they would just look emaciated.

Will post some up tomorrow.

I searched for people on bodyspace and found this guy who is 5ft 7 and 150lbs. I think he looks good for that.

I'm absolutely not going to drop below 145lbs. If it comes to there and I feel I look too small, will reverse diet and do a lean bulk.

Yeah, my bad should have said. Im like 5ft 8.

Here is another example of 150lbs + 5ft 7 - I'd be happy with this result tbh.

Im not looking to compete. Just want to have a bit of muscle, low bodyfat and look better than 99% of the population.

That's not too difficult to accomplish.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

looking good bud.

here are the pics that I took last night. I think bodyfat is around the 12% mark atm. Currently weighing 155lbs @ 5ft 8.

Im aware my abs suck, Ive honestly never really trained them in my life - something which im trying to change and start actively working them, so I dont have to get so lean to get abs on show.

Also aware that my chest is pretty chit too. Going to sort these problems out when I do my lean bulk.

Until then, what would you estimate bodyfat percentage to be atm + how much fat do you reckon I have to lose in order to hit 7-8%?

I've sort of got it in my head that Im going to have to be between 147-149lbs to start looking really lean, which is another 6-8lbs

post better pics for a more accurate answer, without seeing legs back or arms it's impossible to say. And i don't want to sound like a dinkhead making an estimate off of those 2 pics

It is too hard to tell in those pictures, but I don't think you are down to 12% yet. I would suggest putting that magical BF% number aside for now and build some more muscle. I realize it's not what you want to here, but at this point you're only delaying reaching you goal. You're not going to look like the guy you posted by dropping more weight.

Thanks man, i've always had pretty good success with holding onto muscle during a cut by keeping the rate a 0.8 to 1 lb a week at the most. I improved some things on the training side of things this year so hopefully this year is even better. Strength is way up compared to last year, still hitting weight/rep PRs 12 weeks in

I'm making gains really fast. Hitting PRs left and right despite cutting weight. I'm growing and cutting weight all at once. Muscle memory is awesome!

In on this! Nice job everyone. I'm 5'9" - was at 175 lbs/80kg after my 'bulk' since I started lifting, I've recently cut down to 165 lbs/75kg and was gonna bulk again since my arms are 14" and I'm not as big as I would like but realised I've never had visible abs, so I think I might cut down to around 155 lbs/70kg since I'm probably at like 16-19% bodyfat right now.

On another note, my calves are a little less poverty so be proud of me.

Weight loss started to stall, dropped cals by 100. On Week 4 and day 3 of cut, motivated af.

I’ll post progress pics at week 6 or 7.

I’ve also not had one drop of alcohol on this cut! First time in a long time I’ve not drunk for this period of time, I feel great

For competitions I use above and the the week before the show I use a Bic disposable shaver in the shower to take off the stubble.

there is no purpose to being lean when 99%+ of the time you are in clothes. some guy with a higher body fat will maintain muscle and strength easier than you can and will get more girls.

girl's will never see your physique till you f uck them. dieting like an anorexic woman is pointless as low bodyfat also lowers your testosterone levels
