Ha! Saw that this morning and immediately filed it under "things that definitely happened."

In fact, 2 years ago there was almost an identical situation to this where some girl claimed a bunch of people were harassing her saying things like, "MAGA" and "This is for Trump!" Turns out, she made it all up.

Total BS. One story I was reading said he was brutally beat yet was in good condition with scrapes and bruises. First reported as bleach then changed to unknown liquid. Reports of a noose but never verified by the police. Dude goes out in freezing weather at 2am for a sandwich. Nothing sounds quite right about this.

Update: Initially he didn't report the taunts of "MAGA Country" to the police (only TMZ), but upon a follow up interview, he magically "recalls" the men yelling "MAGA country".

I wonder what time he was in the sandwhich shop vs the time he said the attack occurred or when he reported it - someone up thread mentioned a grindr meetup gone bad, I hadn't even thought of that but it seems plausible.

What sounds less plausible - a guy that hates Trump as much as this guy not thinking to tell the police that they yelled MAGA anything during the attack. Or not remembering it.
