Your last statement sums it up. Bad owner=bad dog. I got a scar from getting bit by a hound mix.

Dogs are a serious commitment and training them doesn't end at 8-9 months. So many dog owners just allow their pet to become aggressive/reactive and don't do anything to fix it. Pits need extra attention and an experienced owner. They are physically capable of doing a lot of damage and bad owners don't take that into account. They just assume THEIR pet would never go after/bite someone but at the end of the day it is an animal and their behavior can't be predicted with 100% accuracy.

Video is nothing graphic at all... just a 30 second doorbell cam view of the back of some guy swatting at a couple of pitbulls with a sandal, you never see the cat or them biting it or anything like that, the guy is 90% in the way

Yea guy was in kind of a hard spot, if you run inside to grab a knife or gun and leave the dogs alone attacking the cat for even ~10 seconds the cat will probably be too far gone by the time you get back anyway

**** cats, they are legally allowed to be off leash and roam peoples private property with no repercussions. I ****ing see 4 of the bastards every day, the council does nothing about it

if a dog was on the street or in someones property without a leash they would be locked up immediately.

People need to learn that smacking the dog in these situations are not going to do chit,

He certainly looks like it. At the shelter where I got him, the guy there said he's part Maine ****** But you gotta take that with a grain of salt because for all I know the shelter got him along with a pack of other feral kittens in an abandoned building somewhere.

Yeah I’d be surprised if he didn’t have quite a bit in him.. they’re pretty distinct looking

I live on a big property within a community of big blocks.

My family consists of my gf, our two toddlers and our my two younger sisters who live with me because my mum is a **** up.

All of the kids are under 10.

my neighbour had three pitbulls who kept getting out of her yard, she never walked them and they broke the fence and killed my rabbit.

I warned her about keeping them in their yard, especially since my kids play in the back all the time.

I came home and saw them in the back...I took some chicken out of the fridge, through it around the back to draw the dogs, shot all three and buried them in a park nearby.

My neighbour was wandering around for weeks looking for her dog.

No fuks given - family, kids>>>>>>>>dogs.
