Nuns are the people who actually give the church credibility. they help the orphans, run soup kitchens, etc...

I'm talking about the bloody history of the organization as a whole. Too much too go into, but read a book on the history of Christianity beginning with the REAL Gnostics etc.....

The followers of religion are lazy and just kind of open their mouth and accept whatever is in the spoon of these psychopaths because "my Granny and Pappy said so" duurrrr....

Interesting that my cousin does missionary and charity work, says missionary work is less profiteering and helps many more people, but they get called insane and cultists by people doing nothing to help anyone. Really enjoy how smart you atheists are glad you’re around very beneficial

I didn't mention anything about missionaries. I'm also not an atheist, I was raised in the church (catholic school, weekend rosary, etc). The Catholics I was around agreed with everything the pope and the priest said and never questioned it. Missionaries that goes abroad and actually helps people are A+.

Then you should be aware most practicing Protestants and Catholics that have a brain usually disassociate from the church unless they do direct work for them. I agree though a lot of people use religion as an excuse not to think and to judge but as with the issues with the catholic priests that’s an issue of the individual/ beneficiaries not the religion itself

There have actually been lots of such scandals of nuns abusing kids in orphanages here in Germany. More torture and violence though than sexual abuse.

Well nowhere in the Catholic religion does it say to use nuns as sex slaves, also no priests are currently out preaching (that I'm aware of) to murder people of other religions or to use nuns as sex slaves.
