We have time so not pushing anyone of these people. Posting more so I can keep a record.

lol we on this Scherzer for a first again BS? Ain't no one giving you a first for him. This is a keeper league and he's old AF. This is the year you get stuck holding that hot potato. 34 year old Scherzer is going to regress. Maybe next year you can salvage some value outta him and trade him for a 5th.

Also lol @ Rizzo go peddle your garbage elsewhere. At least when bacon comes in here selling his garbage he doesnt ask for top $$. Ain't no one paying filet mignon prices for hamburger.

As a Braves fan can’t wait for Scherzer to bomb the Nats hopes this year

It’s overdue, they should have taken advantage all these years he was on point but they choked away those chances too

Just lmao Nats

Mets gonna be a pain in the ass though this year, I know they’re typically the running joke of the MLB but they’ll be battling with ATL and Philly in a 3-way

Mets
Phillies
Braves

At least on paper imo. But they gotta play the games and Braves prospects have potential to flip this if it clicks

Only in this league where a top 10 player isnt worth a 100 pick LMAO. Yea. Ill keep holding those cy youngs baby. Everybody thinks im trying to snake them when scherzer keeps posting 300k seasons

Last year you could have had scherzer for a first round but instead you got a former stud kenley putting up a mediocre year

Chits so stupid

And yea lol @ rizzo being ranked in the 30's after a down year in his prime at 29. God a player in the 115 range is so much better than a 30 pick. Makes total sense boyo

Don't complain you have no picks when you're not realistically trying to trade for them.

Does anybody trust ramirez as a 1st rounder? I know his #'s are amazing the past 2 years. Just still dont trust him at that pick

Nah. Suck my nuts *******

Asking for a 7th round pick for a 1st round talent is in no way shape or form asking too much

In fact. Its me taking a considerable loss even with the first round

Yall need to stop bowing down to saalty.

Not everybody has their seasons peddled by lopsided trades

Even if scherzer regresses (as hes been predicting the past 2 years and been completely wrong) all i need to do is pick up an up and comer.

The risk is not that high for a potential elite season considering hes the #1 ranked pitcher (with no signs of regression btw,) youre just hearing clamor from someone that values picks too much

And then whom convinces someone to aid his playoff run

I'll bundle Travis Shaw and Doolittle for a decent pick. Shaw plays 3 IF positions, 32 bangers last year and steals bases occasionally

Finding a reliable closer will only become increasingly difficult as teams start to use closer by committee more frequently

Good luck on punting saves every year

You can already see the trend dipping

Only 3 closers had more than 40 saves last year; in 2016 6 had 40+ saves. The top 10 had 37+ saves in 2016 compared to 32+ cracking the top 10 in 2018 (4 of the top 10 only had 32 saves!!!!)

It will only get worse as it becomes more dispersed

You do realize teams are keeping relievers because they are actually really valuable right? It's not because they don't have decent keepers. Carpenter wouldn't change anything.
