I am watching the news right now (Chicago brah here) and they literally just interviewed an officer at the police precinct on 51st and Wentworth who confirmed they are investigating this as a hoax.

Edit: also confirmed jussie was interviewed today about potentially staging the entire thing

I will never understand why miscers post a reply insinuating racism or some other unfounded bs then leave before a rebuttal can be made.

This entire case has been fishy as fuk since day one. I had a hard time believing it. 2am? Carrying cleaning products and a noose? Maga hat?

I live in Chicago and work in the loop 50 hours a week since 2006. I've never seen a maga hat except for maybe some old war veterans walking around. Like 85 year old men.

Lol this wouldn’t be the first time this has happened. Just last year Michael Bennett claimed he was verbally and physically abused by the police only to be proven a liar after video footage surfaced.

And I’m a conservative, and as skeptical as I was of this story I never called the guy a liar. Still haven’t. I want all of the evidence and more of the story.

Let’s be clear, though, the left has absolutely caused the race issues in the US. These are the people who flipped out and had famous people literally saying a kid should be killed because he was smiling at an Indian guy who got in his face.

Yes. I work in law enforcement and if I had reports of a hate crime with the suspects still at large, I would let the public know that they are safe because it was a hoax and the suspects don’t exist.

From what I’m hearing with my buddy at Chicago PD is:

They don’t have enough evidence to completely rule x. They are saying “we haven’t found any evidence” and the right is running with “see! It didn’t happen!”

For literally two seconds they said “it could be a hoax bc he’s gettin written off the show”..now, CPD says that report isn’t true and empire said they have zero intention of doing that. None of you are commenting that or mentioning that.

Finally: if it’s a hoax, Jussie is a clown. And I will say he’s a straight moron. You guys want it to be a hoax bc you don’t believe hate crimes exist. Even AFTER more details come out you aren’t willing to wait lol.

Obviously a BS story. CPD isn't likely to come out and call him a liar outright unless they have enough evidence to charge him with a crime like filing a false police report. Most likely they'll take the lib/PC path and let it slide. If he tried that **** in an actual conservative city he'd be arrested for filing a false report (which is a crime).


First of all his description of the event is incredibly tame. If you are a racist walking around with a noose and plan on committing a hate crime that noose is going to end up around the victims throat and your going to drag them around with it while your kicking the sh!t out of them at a minimum. His face would have been fukked up and he'd have obvious signs of strangulation/damage to his throat area.


For the most part. Hate crimes are incredibly rare. But when a violent hate crime occurs. Its very violent. He'd have been left crawling on the ground trying to flag down help at a minimum. He'd have been carted off on a stretcher. Not a small knick on his cheek and taking selfies in the hospital.


An actual racist would have hurt him. Maybe even looped that noose around him and drug him behind a car or something screwed up like that. Not slap him with an open hand then run off yelling about it being MAGA country.

I don't know 100% if the "racist attack" was a hoax or not. However the evidence that it is, is fairly overwhelming. I thought an actor on a well known TV show would have better acting and story making skills than this. The whole story sounded BS to me from the get-go, like something from a Family Guy skit (ironically, this story may well be referenced on the show!)

If it is proven that the story is a pure hoax, then the man should face charges as this is a real low move on his part.
