Thanks bro. And good advice.

IF we were all 100% in picking stocks we all would be retired long ago.

Waiting for OP to explain these. This is literally a 30 second research work into the stock and already tells you what you need to know. It's like walking into a car yard and the oil reservoir is white as milk.

Xeron didn't even delve into the proper stock analysis and OP couldn't explain what says that IMUN is skyrocketing.

The stock is at a penny for a reason.

We aren't talking Phizer trading at $45 here.

If you want stocks like that....don't trade penny stocks.

IMUN volume is 970,000 which is around $11,000

TVOG volume is 380,000, which is around $9000

MMRF volume is 107,000 which amounts to $200

With these low volumes how is it even possible to buy, say, $1000s worth without sending the stocks to the moon?

Well I wasn’t aware you could only make three day trades a week if you have less than 25K in a brokerage account
(Pattern day trading rule )
If not your flagged and account locked for 90 days ?

This guy had some great info , like TD bank has free scanner software if you go threw them .

I don’t think it matters which financial institution you use, it’s the same rules for everyone .
But I’m no expert and just learning.

Can OP confirm?

I don't think this applies to cash accounts?

Like if you have 1k in your account and trade only with that 1k without borrowing any money you are not affected by PDT rule.

IMUN at 0.0094 lmao

So let me get this straight. OP bought in at 0.008 or lower, created a buzz online to raise the price to 0.016, flipped em, made his money and is now moving onto the next one? Those that hold stock better hope by some luck it goes up so you can flip em or you’ll be out of pocket.

It's extremely confusing and depends how you set your account up, all brokerage accounts have to have a minimum amount if they plan on doing multiple trades a day. You get a free warning then after that you are squashed for 90 days.

It's not. That's why people think OP is involved in a pump and dump. There's just not enough volume to unload at the right price unless they resort to tactics like hyping the stocks up on the misc and other forums. If they can get some people to start buying then their "predictions" of the stock going up will be self fulfilling as others will think that the stock is going to go higher as they predicted and buy into it thus making the stock go up even more.

IF you don't have $25 K in your account, if you make 3 day trades in any 5 day period then you can no longer day trade. A day trade is where you buy and sell a stock (round trip) the same day. You will still be able to trade in that account, just not daytrade. So you can still buy something and sell it the next day.

However for those with cash accounts be careful. You can only make 3 good faith violations without getting flagged as well. That is where you buy a stock with cash, sell it before the trade settles in 2 or 3 days, and then use that unsettled cash to buy a new stock.

Correct. This is an SEC rule. (it's ridiculous but is what it is). It is not a broker rule.

I strongly urge everyone who either has an account or who is going to open one to also apply for margin trading.

Then you when trade, use the margin account and not cash trading.

This will prevent you from getting good faith violations as I explained above.

I bought some DIGAF end of day. It's a crypto stock and the volume on it today was insane...especially since there wasn't any news.

I am not making it a pick but just something to watch.

Sorry OP I’m a dumbarse .
I didn’t know there was any way to buy stocks other than cash?
I can come up with the 25K to start, but now I’m a little more confused .

I watched this YouTube video and they said if you go threw the TD bank here in Canada , they have a free stock scanning software tool . Not sure how valuable that would be.

Ok I googled margin accounts and the TD bank came up again .
Maybe I should make an appointment with the TD and have them explain all this good stuff to me

No you don't need to do all of that.

Just when you apply online, or if you are already approved for an account, go to accounts/forms/margin trading and just apply online. You will get approved.

All margin trading means is for nasdaq, AMEX and other big board stocks, if you have $25 K cash on your account, instead of buying only lets say $25 K of ********, with a margin account you can buy up to $75 K or so worth of stock even though you only have the $25 K. That is where people run into issues called margin calls.

So lets say you buy 1000 shares of xxx stock at $50 on margin. That is $50 K worth but you only have $25 K in your account. If the stock falls too much, lets say to $42 or so, you will get a margin call where you either need to sell your stock of cover the $8 K that you are down. If you have to sell the stock, you are now down to $17 K in your account.

You cannot buy on margin with penny stocks in that you cannot buy more of a penny stock than you have free cash in your account, but still use the margin account when buying penny stocks so that way you will never get the good faith cash violations that I talked about earlier.
