I've dealt with a limited number of annoying twats, thinking down the years:

- A bottom tier Sydney rail employee
- A waitress
- A salesman
- A handful of cubecels in my organisation and others

So no particular profession stands out. Not being important does stand out, but I guess that goes with easy job.

Doctors

srs

Most of the primary care provider doctors you deal with actually are mediocre at science and weren't good enough to cut it in highly prestigious fields of medicine, such as surgery, radiology, dermatology, etc. Their understanding of math and technology is rudimentary at best, and contrary to what people may think, their understanding of biology is also quite lacking. Most of them are blissfully unaware of detailed drug mechanisms at the molecular level, and a lot of them often rely entirely on uptodate to make recommendations to patients. You remember that dumbass premed that would cram right before the test, barely get a decent score, and forget it all 2 weeks later? That guy grew up to become your doctor, and that's what he did for his STEP exams. They get way more respect than they deserve. Even surgeons, who are generally the smartest doctors in med school, end up doing what is essentially a manual labor job. All they do is cut. Whoop dee fuking do. I get that there is a huge risk of death, etc, but srsly. It is just cutting. It's honestly less sophisticated than the dudes who work as technicians on complicated machines. For whatever reason, "brain surgeon" = smart to most people. While they are certainly more intelligent than the general population, there is no way that job could possibly be considered more intellectually demanding than your average research job.

Easily used bookstore owners. Terrible people skills, no work ethic, contempt for their own customers, sit on their asses all day, disorganized as fuq. Easiest job on the fukking planet, but they all act like they're Amazon running CEOs. And they always go out of business.

No I am math crew.

But I have studied biology, and my brother is a doctor. I know what kind of people become doctors dude. Three of my former classmates are doctors and none of them were that impressive srs. Most of them were very weak quantitatively. Doctors have a reputation for being the smartest people around, and it just isn't true.

I was gonna agree with fuqdatazz .. Until i remembered my layover flight at charlotte airport

Lmao we got in late, at like midnight. The airport was so dead. We tried looking around for food (as we hadnt eaten since lunch). Every fuken employee, much like the dmv looked like they hated their job. Starbucks was the only place open. We get there and it was this big AZZ black dude. Who was fuken massive but had a gay azz voice. He was legit majorly gay. Was quite the mixture. And he had an attitude

Asked him if they had the sandwiches and he said yes but the grills were just cleaned

dude didnt want to do ANY work. The airport was fuken dead and these bishes were acting like they were slammed

Then we tried to find our shuttle. This indian dude is sitting in a chair. I ask him where our shuttle is and he says go to the left and then ask another dude. So we walk all the way to the left, which is like 12 colors down, get to the and the guy tells us to go all the way right in the complete opposite direction

Meanwhile the other dude is just sitting in his chair with his headphones on doing FUK all and getting a check

Maybe, if they actually taught useful skills and information. As a cloud systems engineer, a career in which most people assume I'm smart and well educated, you know how many times I've had to find the slope intercept of a line or do geometry proofs, or know the difference between symbolism and imagery in literature? Zero. Except if you count graduate school, but that's just more irrelevant skills.

You know how much I need to use actual math skills like addition, multiplication, etc...? How many times I need to manage a budget? Write a resume? Fix my car? These are things you actually need to know, and are either not taught or, in the case of useful math, only taught to get into more complicated math that nobody in the real world actually does as its 2019 and computers exist.

Not a job but stay at home mom's with wealthy husbands.

When I worked as a credit card underwriter they were by far the most arrogant entitled people that would call in. Most would have massive amounts of debt and claim their husband's income as their own, then proceed to flip chit when I told them I legally couldn't take use their husband's income as their own. It was even worse when they were up to their eyeballs in revolving credit card debt.

Doctors are easily the most arrogant. Under appreciated teachers are a meme at this point. Oil field workers are the teachers of the tradie world in that their payed more than comparable work in a different field, always complaining and get half the year off.

Edit: Totally forgot about nurses. Great pay for the amount of education required and they still complain and want to be paid as much as doctors because "they do all the work".

Teachers are the worst. They knowfull wellwhat pay and schedule of a teacher are, they go to school and purposely study to become a teacher, then complain incessantly about how hard their jobs are and how they're not paid enough.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say K-12 teaching is far more difficult and stressful than college professors, and while I think they are under-appreciated, I still think they are paid fairly. Regarding pay- I believe in a fair market, so if there are a lot of people qualified and willing to teach, it shouldn't pay that much. However, dealing with K-12 age kids, and their parents, SUCKS. I've never been a teacher but from my time as a student, I would never want to be in the shoes of a K-12 teacher who has to deal with troublemakers and shytty parents. I remember in middle school and high school kids in my classes put our teachers through hell. And at the same time, they are trying to mold all the kids into good and smart people.

On the other side, college professors are a joke. Yeah they have a whole bunch of education and published papers and shyt but they don't have to deal with shytty kids or their parents. All they really have to do is stand in front of the class reading their textbook they wrote, and then grade papers/exams. There doesn't need to be any personal teaching involved (obviously good professors will engage with their students, but it's not needed and I had plenty of professors who didn't).

Sales comes in at a close 2nd I guess. Every single corporate sales guy I know just rolls through a list of numbers someone gave them and gets rejected until they find the magic number... but these guys also firmly believe they are the sole reason the business exists and continues to operate despite pulling an impressive 2.0 gpa from whatever community college they went to.

Contractors recently have been giving me a lot of lip and these ****s only job is to run wires from point a to point b. I'm pretty sure a squirrel and some tape can do that for me for like 10 grand less than what some of these drunks want.

Whatever, bring on the pawgs.

"just cutting" you serious dude? the fact surgeons absolutely cannot ever **** up means they need to be able to know exactly what's going on with every patient in short notice, and each case is different. nevermind when they're dealing in life-threatening scenarios where the patient's health is going to fluctuate and they need to adapt on the spot.

I know of 1 orthopedic and 1 neurosurgeon who fail 90% of the surgeries they do. Once you have a license it is almost impossible to get it taken away and if you cause too much trouble for the hospital they just let you go and you can always find another one because those specialties bring in so much money for the hospitals. The neuro I'm talking about is Ivy educated and has all the right credentials but is a nightmare. Dude even found a way to set a lady on fire during surgery. He has been to through every clinic in the metro area and eventually just opened up his own clinic after he had been run off from everywhere else. He still gets tons of business because the ambulance chasers send all of their clients to him and he runs up medical costs and gives permanent and total disability to everyone he operates on, most because he screwed them up to the point that they are disabled.

Most would have massive amounts of debt and claim their husband's income as their own, then proceed to flip chit when I told them I legally couldn't take use their husband's income as their own. It was even worse when they were up to their eyeballs in revolving credit card debt.
I spent six months as a debt collector.

My favorite was the time a guy down the row from me stood up and started flailing his arms for supervisors while firmly repeating "No, sir, that is not necessary. There is no reason to go down that road. This is something that can be worked out."

In the state he'd called into, he could disclose financial information to spouses as if they were the same party, and when he told the husband how much his wife was delinquent on, the husband decided that based on that information, he now knew this was just the tip of the iceberg and that he was going to wait for her to come home and murder her.

Apparently, he was so calm that the collector believed it. I assume it never happened, but still.

Also, easy job where people get to be arrogant?

Debt collector. Any rando can walk in off the street and with a brief training, jump on the phone and start trolling people until they give you money to get rid of you.

My favorite dig was giving people the number to call me back and then asking them to read it back to me after they pretended to write it down. They'dlose their fukking minds, and then it was on.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

The neuro I'm talking about is Ivy educated and has all the right credentials but is a nightmare. Dude even found a way to set a lady on fire during surgery. He has been to through every clinic in the metro area and eventually just opened up his own clinic after he had been run off from everywhere else. He still gets tons of business because the ambulance chasers send all of their clients to him and he runs up medical costs and gives permanent and total disability to everyone he operates on, most because he screwed them up to the point that they are disabled.
what a POS. how can someone continue to do this? who was ethics? taking pride if doing good work? chit accidents do happen but hopefully they learn from them

Not even a top 10 most dangerous job, but please, have some free coffee.
Still can't explain what makes it easy. Especially when every job, street stop, or traffic stop could be your last.

Dealing with a child who was sexually abused/assaulted isn't easy.

Surprised no one has mentioned TSA agents, that’s easily #1

And LOL at the people mentioning doctors. The OP clearly states EASY jobs

Also, although not an easy job, some of the most arrogant, douchey people I’ve met were air traffic controllers. Some are complete soul sucking imbeciles.
